I suppose that is a relief but do you have any thoughts on the create replica failure?

Getting this error: These instructions require a url without numbers: Feature Service URL: the url to the Feature Service endpoint. This is the endpoint for the Service, not an individual layer (i.e., it will end with '/FeatureServer' with no numbers) The url for my feature service contains numbers (both the server name and item ID). Am I missing something?

It appears this can be achieved by using the pulldata() function against external data stored in a .csv file as described here . If you store the labels in a field in what is referred to as the "<returnColumn>" on the page referenced, you can use them to populate a 'calculate' field type in your xls form (this is how I did it anyway). You may be able to get it to work within the concat() formula itself but I haven't tested it. Note: tested with Survey123 Connect version 2.0.35 and survey accessed via web app.

Turns out it is rather simple (if you are using the same choice list in both questions). Use the following expression in the choice_filter field of the .xls: selected(${field_name}, name) See example below: Note: This solution seems to apply only to surveys accessed via the web client.

I've copied and pasted the pulldata() expression from https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2016/11/03/extracting-information-from-geopoint-questions to use exactly as described on that page for retrieving latitude and longitude values but it is causing an error. The geopoint question and pulldata calculation both exist within the same repeat group. This might be a significant factor since in the preview for the field app in Survey123 Connect the geopoint question, map, and all other questions within the repeat no longer appear -- it's just blank pages under the group heading (I am using the pages style with Survey123 Connect version 2.0.35). No error or warning messages are given in Survey123 Connect when loading form preview. The survey can be published without error but when attempting to view the published survey in the web app it does not load and the error message "External instance "@geopoint" is empty., FormLogicError: pulldata with incorrect number of parameters found" is given. This occurs when both a default value for the geopoint location is provided (using concat('+044.897011','',' -086.066654') -- which works when the subsequent pulldata() functions are included) and when no default location is provided. I've also tried to make the pulldata() calculations dependent on a non-empty geopoint question (using relevant field in xls form) to no avail. The ultimate goal is to set a constraint on the extent within which geopoint responses must occur. This is one of multiple methods I have attempted to apply. Each have failed while they have apparently worked for other survey makers. The issue may stem from the fact the geopoint question is in a repeat group, but this set up is necessary for my survey. Thanks for any advice.

What about using a regular expression in the constraint column to ensure the selection of a select-one type question matches one of potentially many selected in a previously answered select-multiple type question?

Is there a way to create a list of choices for a select_one type question that is comprised of selections made in previous select_multiple question? There may be one or multiple selections made in a response to a previous question. I would like to retrieve those responses and offer them as the list of possible choices for a select-one type question (e.g. which one of the choices that you've just selected is the most important?). I'm attempting to use cascading selects by essentially repeating one choice list under a different list name (similar to screenshot below) but this isn't restricting the subsequent choice list to the previously selected choices. Another option is to use an expression in the constraint column to restrict the valid response to one that matches any of the previously selected choices. In this scenario the same entire list would be displayed as possible choices but the one valid response would be limited to those selected in the previous select-multiple question. I am using Survey123 Connect version 1.10 and will be collecting survey responses via the web app. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

I'm unable to share the .xls file at this time since I am out of my office for a week and didn't bother to bring a copy with me. The only difference between my form and a template or what might be expected is that I've included images with an <img> tag in the label column so that I can center the image in the form instead of referring to the image file in the 'media::image' column. Could this be causing the problem?

#survey123 repeats #survey123 web app When publishing a survey from Survey123 Connect version 1.10 to AGOL and viewing the survey in the Survey123 web app the repeat group does not allow users to add additional responses. The plus and minus buttons do not show up. The repeat works as it should in the form preview in Survey123 Connect. I've published surveys this way before with a properly functioning repeat group and don't believe I've done anything differently this time.
