I was afraid of that. Thanks for your explanation. In version 9.3, our console application works on server and desktop. I can't use the method "ComReleaser.ReleaseCOMObject(parameterObjects)" from "ESRI.ArcGis.ADF.Connection.Local on my server. Do you think that it is enough if i release my cursor with the .NET method ? System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(parameterObjects); Thank you for your help

Thanks for your response. It helps me a little. In my directory c:\windows\assembly, i have only "ESRI.ArcGis.ADF.Local" (version 10.1.0.30.35) So it is logical that my assembly ESRI.ArcGis.ADF.Connection.Local could not be loaded. What do I forget ? Why ESRI.ArcGis.ADF.Connection is not present ?

It doesn't work. My server is in 64 bits , ArcGis Server and ArcSde are also in 64 bits. Should I register the ESRI.ArcGIS.ADF.Connection.Local ? Thanks for your help

Hello, I have done the upgrading from ArcSde 9.3 to arcSde 10 thanks to http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisserver/10.0/help/arcgis_server_dotnet_help/index.html#/Preparing_to_upgrade_a_geodatabase_in_Oracle/002n000000p0000000/ and http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisserver/10.0/help/arcgis_server_dotnet_help/index.html#/Upgrading_an_ArcSDE_geodatabase_in_Oracle/002n000000p8000000/ The last step of upgrading with the tool in ArcGis Desktop has succeeded . After I create an SDE service: OK but I can't start it "Error starting esri_sde service (1053) Could not start ArcSDE -- Check Network, $SDEHOME disk, DBMS settings end dbinit.sde" I checked the SDEHOME, dbinit.sde :ok ArcSde and ORacle 11g are on the same server (Windows server 2008) with ArcGisServer 10. Which step did I miss ? Thank you for your help.
