When you have a multi-machines deployment and you have Portal installed on a separate machine you can not run the python script to scan Portal for security best practices. Although ESRI has a python script for that under the installation/admin directory (Portal). Portal installation doesn't come with Pyhton27. For this deployment scenario, ESRI needs to have a separate Python installation for each Portal version or have a Portal package with Python for installation on a separate machines. ESRI assumes all installations are to be on one machine (ArcGIS Server, datastore, and Portal; the first two come with Python). I have brought this issue to ESRI attention.

Hello all, I have the exact same problem. We have a web adaptor (proxy) server for which we have a CA-signed wild card certificate *.xxxx.com (external), our hosted ArcGIS server has a different domain xxxxcoxx.com (https//xxxserver1:6443, internal). It is a multi-machine deployment (with two ArcGIS Server, the second one xxx2). I looked at the Subject Alternative name and it is xxxx.com not the name of the hosted server name.xxxxcoxx.com. What do I need to do here. Go back to provider to add Subject Alternative Name? Use a multiple-domains self signed certificate instead of the wild card?..No much experience behind basic understanding of certificates and properly import them. I appreciate your help!

I think first you need to identify scenarios for each equation to use, then come up with code for each scenario/equation e.g. 1, 2,3 for people to enter in the field/office, also you can add another field for exceptions, then query each code (may be with exception) to apply the right equation. Good luck, Abdo
