I have referenced in my project the ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Toolkit that also contains the primitives assembly so that should be OK. In my XAML declaration I have the following: xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:esri="http://schemas.esri.com/arcgis/client/2009" xmlns:local="clr-namespace:Optipro.WpfArcGis" xmlns:System="clr-namespace:System;assembly=mscorlib" xmlns:i="clr-namespace:System.Windows.Interactivity;assembly=System.Windows.Interactivity" xmlns:localPrimitives="clr-namespace:ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Toolkit.Primitives" xmlns:local="clr-namespace:ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Toolkit" Visual Studio still complain that localPrimitives:TickBar is not found.

Dominique, I am working with Arcgis runtime for wpf v10.2.3 so I do not have "ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Toolkit.Primitives" available in my SDK. As silverlight will be depreciated by Microsoft, I do not want to add it to my wpf project. François

Hello, I am using the time slider to display my temporal layer and I would like to modify the size of the arrow button that does the previous and next movement. Does anyone have a code sample that does this. Here is the XAML code I have so far. <local:AutoTimeSlider x:Name="MyTimeSlider" Visibility="Collapsed" MaxWidth="700" Loop="{Binding ElementName=chkLoop, Path=IsChecked, Mode=TwoWay}" PlaySpeed="{Binding ElementName=sliderPlaySpeed, Path=Value, Converter={StaticResource playSpeedLogConverter}, Mode=TwoWay}" TimeMode="{Binding ElementName=cmbTimeMode, Path=SelectedValue}" Intervals="{Binding ElementName=MyTimeSpan, Path=Value, NotifyOnSourceUpdated=True}" Grid.Row="1" Grid.Column="1" Height="20" Margin="4,2,4,5" />

Hello, I want to know in the arcgis runtime for wpf API if I can find the following attribute when I am working with a temporal map. Where can I find the following attributes. A properties that would indicate the distinction between past and future data. For now, time extent in the TimeInfo class gives the beginning and the end of the time period but I would like to know how to manage a map service that contains historical and future data. So far I have made a patch and store this information in the description property of the layer sDescription = DirectCast(oLayer, ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer).Description I would like to have something in the TimeInfo Class like MiddleTimeField François

Hello, The arcgisruntime for WPF v2.3.1 offer a method called TimeExtent that gives the start and end. When we want to display historical and forecast data in the same time animation, it is usefull to have an intermediate date that would be called for instance MiddleDate. I have used the raster catalog and hardcode a middle date in the mpk layer to be able to distinguish between historical and forecast layers. Is there a better way to structure historical and forecast data to work in the same time slider. François

Dominique, I am sorry the copy paste did not work on Iexplorer. I switched to FireFox. The good piece of code is: Dim oDynamicLayer As New ArcGISLocalDynamicMapServiceLayer oDynamicLayer.DisplayName = "Météo" _________________________________________________________________________________ When I add a graphic layer called "sélection", it is working well _SelectionGraphicslayer.DisplayName = "Sélection" _SelectionGraphicslayer.Opacity = 1.0 _SelectionGraphicslayer.IsHitTestVisible = True _SelectionGraphicslayer.ShowLegend = True MyMap.Layers().Add(_SelectionGraphicslayer) But when I add the local map service, the french title does not display well. Both type of layer are using the same XAML format for the legend. Dim oDynamicLayer As New ArcGISLocalDynamicMapServiceLayer oDynamicLayer.ID = MyMap.Layers.Count - 1 oDynamicLayer.Path = sUrl oDynamicLayer.DisplayName = ''Système hydrique'' oDynamicLayer.Opacity = dOpacity AddHandler oDynamicLayer.Initialized, AddressOf ArcGISLocalDynamicMapServiceLayer_Initialized AddHandler oDynamicLayer.InitializationFailed, AddressOf ArcGISLocalDynamicMapServiceLayer_InitializationFailed MyMap.Layers().Add(oDynamicLayer)

Dominique, When I start my WPF application, I load 2 map packages. The app reads from an.ini file the name of the map package which becomes the name of the layer in the ESRI:legend. dim oDynamicLayer as ArcGISLocalDymanicMapService oDynamicLayer.DisplayName= "Météo" The character "é" is not displayed in my legend control. If I use an English name, I have no problems. François

Thanks you Mike, Putting the 32 and 64 bits together will be useful for me. For my specific problem, I think I have found the answer. It comes from my vb project that allow to change the target platform to any cpu but you need to go in the advanced option button even if it is available directry in the main compile option screen. Hello, I have an application that is installed twice on the same server. The 2 applications are using the exact same user control version. This user control refers to the esri.ArcGis.Client.local.dll etc libraries. This user control loads 2 local map services. This setutp is working well on a 32 bits windows server. On the 64 bits windows 2008, the first installation is working well. On the second installation, the 2 local map services are not starting but the "base map" is starting well. It seems that the gis application does not find the Runtime library folder because the local maps are the same for both installation. This makes me believe that the application cannot find the folder that contains the 64 bit runtime library. I have placed the runtime librairy just a level below the application exe. I am not sure where I need to locate the runtime library folder to make sure the exe finds it.
