SCaldwell, I'm also trying unsuccessfully to do the same. I am wondering if it's the TSC7's inability to use tiled service or an unspecified WMS layer. Or my URL is incorrect.

I agree, I'd like to see the account creation, or duration of the account. I have some users that have 'Never' been logged in. I cannot tell easily if they were created today, by another admin or 12 months ago and lie unused. This means I cannot effectively delete unused (i.e. wasted) accounts without some digging - which wastes time and effort.

Agreed - Esri should allow the popup order to be defined. I'd be happier explaining to users that the popup is 'slow' or 'slower' (whatever the actual delay is) due to underlying data being searched in order to return the correct popup, than to irritate with an unwanted popup that cannot even be moved out the way - AND which has the arrow to the next feature move due to the differences between popup content. It's like a mean game where the user is plagued with unwanted popups that are fiddly to use! Simply ridiculous that an organisation such as Esri cannot see how poor the popups are.

Grant, Yes, completely agree. I was expecting to find a 'log out widget' to add in my webapps. This is 3 years after your idea post - as far as I can see there is nothing yet. Thanks

Hi Sorry - I haven't seen an answer to the above - is there a way to export a KML/KMZ from features in a WebApp? I am seeking a way for non-GIS users to simply export to KML/KMZ. I have seen the Select Widget, but this is GeoJSON only (not sure what to do with this, how useful this is). Users need to be able to export their features drawn by the Draw widget, not just the existing hosted feature layers in the WebApp. Thank you Andy

Adding attachments to a FGDB in ArcMap for use in AGOL: Is it me, or is this unnecessarily confused, awkward and complicated?! I am endeavouring to add 1000s of jpgs & PDFs to various points and polygons in ArcMap, but it appears the tools used for this sort of help, but in the end, one has to create fields and babysit the process all the way. Please jump in if I am doing something wrong here: Create an FGDB, import shp data that will have attachments associated to various Feature Datasets Enable attachments for the above feature class. Oddly, if you have not done this, you can proceed through at least part of the attachment process before it fails and tells you attachments cannot be applied, meaning you need to start again. Enabling should be automatic??!! Generate Attachments Match Table. This is a flawed tool: It searches for files in your specified folder that both wholly match AND begin with the Key Field value. For example, Key Field value "Photo-100" will 'match' files called "Photo-100.jpg", "Photo-100A.jpg", "Photo-100B.jpg", "Photo-100C.jpg", "Photo-100A.PDF" etc. The result is more matches than you have files to attach! In the above case, you need to manually create your own match table with the proper field names (MATCHID & FILENAME, may not be case sensitive) and populate with the values in order for it to attach the correct files at the end of the process. The Match Table(s) cannot reside in the Feature Dataset 'folder' in your FGDB, but you can 'force' them to at least reside in the FGDB itself, in a bid to keep things organised. Otherwise they simply go to your default location for losing. I have noticed that if you specify the Match Table location to be within your FGDB, it creates an OBJECTID field. Add Attachments. The tool's Input Dataset field is badly worded, beginning by stating the GDB/FC you're adding attachments to, only to contradict this by saying they are not directly added. A suggestion: "Geodatabase table or feature class, to which your attachments will be associated via a related attachment table that maintains linkage to the input dataset." Match Join Field: should I use the FILENAME field or MATCHID here? Not sure if this is a safe option as what guarantee is there that the correct record will go with the Input Join field? It appears that FILENAME can only be used in the Match Table if the full filename (including filename extension) is present in an Input Dataset field. Match Path Field: why is this not already 'taken care of' by the Match Table, seeing the folder was browsed as part of that process...? (though I can see the table could be used for multiple folder locations - hence the relative path option? The Match Path Field is not even present in the Match Table. It seems it can only be used in conjunction with the 'optional' Working Folder - so it's hardly optional.... The resultant ATTACH table is created in the 'root' of the FGDB, again not in the Feature Dataset folder - a shame. Having written this process, it seems the key is understanding the Match Table - this is all important to successfully attaching data, to the right Feature Dataset record. It seems the Feature Dataset benefits from having a field specifying the attachment filename as it simplfies the subsequent Match Table and Add Attachments function. Happy for feedback! Thanks for reading

Hi Bill, I think any user, regardless of role, is prevented from deleting accidentally i.e. everyone is subject to the delete protection in the same way.

Hi, some simple icon additions in the AGOL My Contents listing would speed up map and data administration. Essentially these would save the clumsy, laborious process of viewing Item Details to check unnecessarily: e.g. Icons for: Delete Protection; Online/Offline: Retrieve Features vs. attachments; Layer Settings / HTTPS; I expect this could cause some clarity issues, but even this could be overcome by hide/show of these Item attributes in My Contents. The next step would to be able to edit these settings for multiple Items at once. Thank you.

It would be useful to 'invert' your selection filter whilst viewing your Items in AGOL. This would make it easy to find data that is *not* categorised, grouped, a map etc etc. This simple function would double the power of the search tools. Once the user has filtered and selected Items, it should be possible to maintain this filter setting as desired. For example, it seems the filtering is lost when coming out of Item Details or navigating generally about AGOL tabs;

Hi, a good idea, but I think I'd prefer to have the ability to apply / remove delete protection to multiple items at once rather than automatically add this protection. Otherwise it could be a slow process to delete items during an AGOL 'clean up' of unwanted or obsolete items. Additionally: 1. These settings should be definable during the Add Item process. This would negate burrowing into the Item Details after loading data. 2. The My Contents listing should have an icon to notify the user of delete protection. This alleviates the user from attempting to delete, only get that operation knocked back by protection. More importantly, it provides delete protection status at a glance.

Hi, Yes - we are experiencing the same. We are using Android Galaxy mobile phones and cuurent Collector app, taking up to 15 photos per point. When posting the point, it says 'nn' items failed - which keeps changing on each retry. But, in the back in the office, it appears the attachments were posted successfully after all. We have Push updates only, using online rather than offline use. We are in a city urban area with good 3G/4G, but inside buildings. Phone calls are fine though. I am considering making it local but have not had experience with this yet. If we do - the maps and data are presumably all stored on the phone which may/may not have enough storage. Thanks

Hi Jake, Thank you for your help. I have now got a GDB with a 1000 char 'picture' field and downloaded and imported your toolbox. Sorry, I'm a newbie to external GP script use. I have tried importing the .py script into the toolbox - this appears to work, but has no parameters. I'm not sure on what I should do from here...! Thank you.
