Hello ESRI Community, I'm trying to find the best workflow with updating water utility layers after I collect them using a GPS unit. My current workflow now is when a new water utility feature is added I go out and collect the new feature(s) pull the data off of my AGOL account, insert the new features in ArcGIS Pro, make all updated changes needed for that utility feature(s). Once this has been completed my local file geodatabase is updated then my next step is to get AGOL updated. In the past I would just overwrite the AGOL layer with the new layer but recently I have found that some of my Surveys get screwed up when I do that. I have a few surveys that are hyperlinked to hydrant maintenance, hydrant flushing and hydrant winter checks. The above workflow has always worked for me over the years but I think I may be able to do away with a step without screwing up the surveys that have been linked. Thanks for any help in advance, Todd

I'm sure this isn't new but I recently noticed that after I created a connection between a Survey123 survey and Power Automate the survey name in the "When a survey response is submitted" changed from the original name to a long string of number and letters. Can anyone explain to me why this happened? I guess good thing is it didn't screw up the connection and I'm still able submit rows to a spreadsheet that is on a SharePoint site. I attached a screenshot for a refernce. Thanks, Todd

So I made the change you both suggested and I got the result I'm looking for but without the decimal point after the 5. Can either one of you tell me how the calculation should be to get the decimal point added? See the attached screenshot of the XLS and the Form. Thanks again for your help, Todd

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction to add a decimal point in my last calculation. I have attached a screen shot of the calculation and the result on the form. I have also attached the XLSForm. All the calculations work perfectly except I need a decimal point after the first number. So instead of a result of 588, the result needs to be 5.88. I have read through some of the post on decimals but unfortunately I didn't had any luck. Thanks for any help in advance, Todd Hill

So we use Explorer for ArcGIS to view our system maps on an iPhone/Ipad and one of my coworkers recently keeps getting this message when he goes to use the main map. What's strange is I have about 10 of us that all have access to this map using Explorer and nobody see this message. Thanks for any help in advance, Todd

No I can't view the image in Pro(I Can in Desktop). The hyperlink is already in the attribute table see the picture below. The issue is with getting the hyperlinks to work inside Pro. Thanks, Todd

I have 100's of layers that have Hyperlinked pictures inside ArcGIS Desktop. These picture sit inside a NAS in my office. The workflow to (Hyper)link these pictures in Desktop is very easy, but for some reason I must be missing something from all the threads I have read when trying to do the same thing in Pro. I'm slowly transitioning to Pro right now and one of the few challenges that I have had using Pro has been getting these hyperlinked pictures to work. Anyway if anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Todd

Only one for right now as we are testing the report templates to see if we can get a usable report to share with our trustees. The default report is about 8 Pages and not laid out the way we want. The option to create a custom report template with the placeholders from the default survey makes it much nicer to read. At this point I just need to get that code 500 fixed so I can get the custom report to work. Thanks, Todd

I created a custom form template from my watershed patrol survey and when I use it to export the report I'm getting this error print map failed for ${ activity_location }:{"error":{"code":500,"message":"Error performing execute operation","details":[]}}. Before I created the custom template I actually downloaded the default template of the survey, then used this as a template without any custom formatting and I was able to produce the report in word with no problems. The report included geo points, pictures and repeats etc. I'm assuming there has to be some placeholder out of place, unfortunately I'm having a hard time trying to figure it out. I have attached the default template as well as the custom one I created to see if someone would be able to look at both to see where the issue is coming from. Thanks in advance, Todd Hill

We have been building a Watershed Report survey with Survey123 for ArcGIS to be used during our watershed patrols. The form has been built with the help from a few folks at ESRI. I have made some minor changes to the form and have also created a report template that works for the most part for each time the user does his patrol. Our issue is that we also need to produce a monthly report as well as a yearly report template of the activities which include the number of people, number of machines(other) etc. The watershed patrol report has the option for repeats for example: Lets say I'm in section 1 and during my patrol I witness 5 activities like ATV's, MT Biking, Fishing, Drinking and Camping. We also need to note the number of people we saw with that particular activity. So 5 ATVers w/5 people, 3 MT Bikers w/3 people, 1 person fishing, 5 people drinking and 2 people camping. The monthly/yearly report template needs to reflect this information. Its possible to see more activities during a patrol or sometimes depending on the time of year we may not see anyone. I have attached a PDF version of a Patrol Report summary that goes from January 1 2004 to June 6 2018 this is what we are trying to recreate from the survey but unfortunately we are having a difficult time trying to create the report template. Thanks in advance for any help, tips or direction.... Todd Hill

One of my users had an issue with gps coordinates over the weekend. He was given gps coordinates to find a location in a 2000+ acre area but when he entered the coordinates he ended up in Australia. I did a little digging this morning and read about creating a Geocoding Service that can be used to search by Long, Lat(Lat, Long), MGRS and USNG. After I created the service I added it to the Organization > Utility Services > Geocoding section. I then tested it in AGOL inside the map that he would be using and it worked perfectly. The problem I’m having is making it work inside the mobile apps we use like Explorer or Collector. Does this Locator Service carry over from AGOL into the mobile apps that we use to view our maps? The geocoding service is shared with everyone in my organization. Thanks for any help in advance... Todd
