No Voila! It's kind of dumb to have to have a dummy polyline layer to construct a traverse and then copy/construct it into the layer you want. How about they just make the trav tool work like the one over in Desktop. Creating unwanted data in order to create the data you desire.. what a waste of time and effort... Still not fixed as of 2.3.1 as far as I can determine...

Hey Everybody, I am transitioning to ArcGIS Pro and I seem to be coming up with loads of embarrassingly basic questions. Here is the latest: In ArcMap, I can drop a marker symbol on the data view, can one do the same in Pro? I appears as if a marker symbol can only be added to the layout, which means the map can move underneath the carefully placed marker (highway shield in this case). This brings me to my second dumb question. Can I use all of my beautiful custom markers that I've collected and developed over the years for ArcMap in Pro? Tom S.

OK so I added a bunch of sessions on the PC version yesterday for a couple of HOURS and today I can't find the link?! Did ESRI take it down for some reason? I assume it will be back soon so I have a couple of questions: 1. Can a person’s schedule be printed or otherwise shared with another? The boss would like to see what I have planned. Conversly, can I add sessions or otherwise set up a planner for someone else? 2. I saw that you could search by presenter but one I had the persons schedule up, it would show the times, but not the days they are presenting. It's great that Ken Field is presenting a cartography session at 3:00.... but WHAT DAY? Furthermore, I can't click on the 3:00 session to take me to the detailed description. 3. It would be nice to know when a session will be repeated later in the week, but I don't see that info (on the app). 4. It would be nice to see the selected sessions in a calendar style view (a'la pervious years) so I can see all days at 8:30 for example. I apologize for the whining but this app make it really difficult to prioritize...

It sounds like the planner will be an app and not on-line through the agenda?! That's an awful lot of info to read on a small phone screen. I have eye strain just thinking about it, especially since I have to do it for several people. Just give us back the agenda planner we have been using and enjoying for years. BTW, when are EITHER going to be available, UC is less than 4 weeks away!

Hi smart GIS folks, Here's what I want to do. I have a vector sewer line feature class that contaings a field for the high invert elevation and one for the low invert elevation. I can turn them into a raster no problem but what I can't figure out is how to interpolate between the two ends (high and low) and assign the elevations to the raster cells. Ultimately what I need to do is compare the sewer line raster to an elevation raster to determine likely overflow points in the event of a backed up line. My thought is it would be similar to creating a reservoir with a blockage being the dam. I hope I articulated my question sufficently. Any thought?? Thanks! Tom S

Hi smart folks, I'm having to go back and edit some applications that I built a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, They are not showing up in "Current Viewer Applications" pane or My Maps. The weird thing is, I can see them in my wwwroot\Apps folder. Any Ideas? Thanks! Tom

Hi everyone! Here's my question. I have published a service to Server and it shows up just fine in the Silverlight application builder. Any subsequent services I publish do not.. unless I re-start my server machine which is not realistic. Furthermore, if I make changes to the original map document and re-publish, the changes don't show up. It's almost as if it takes a snapshot of the 1st service and then closes its doors to any additional services. What's frustrating is I can see everything in ArcServer, and I can publish a app from there. Any ideas or direction would be helpful. Thanks! Tom S.

Hi All, After either adding or deleting a service in ArcServer Manager, those changes aren't reflected in appbuilder (for me anyway). I've tried stopping and re-starting the services and refreshing the web page both in builder and ArcServer. Builder still shows services that are no longer on Server, as well as not showing those that are. Is there a secret 'refresh services' button or technique that I'm missing? Thanks! Tom S.

Robert, Thanks for the suggestions, but no luck. Something must be going on with my active service. I'll try rebuilding and publishing and see if that works. Thanks for help! Tom

Hi Robert, Here is my .xml. It's pretty bare bones. The layer that works is 'Taxlots' and it is in my basemap service. The other, 'Mainline_Structures' is in my active layer service and is the one that can't be ID'd. Thanks for your input. This question pertians to Robert Scheitlins' Identify Widget 2.3.1. I have added the widget to my web app and it's exactly what I'm looking for. HOWEVER, it only seems to identify those layers that are a part of my basemap. I've modified the "onlythese" code in the compiled version six ways from Sunday and it will not id any of the layers in my 'operational layers'. Any ideas anyone? Robert? Thanks!
