Okay, thank you! Isn't it coming out of Beta next Tuesday night, and will be available after midnight? Thanks again!

Update: by searching ArcGIS Online (not Living Atlas) I can bring up several augmented and/or altered "tapestry" layers, including one called "Segmentation in the US" which extends across the entire United States but it uses 2018 data (not what I need or want).

Hi, I teach an introductory GIS class (since the pandemic a year ago, have been using ArcGIS Online exclusively). The college In anticipation of the new Map Viewer rollout next week, I'm re-writing a lab exercise that uses ESRI's Tapestry as a layer (and does not require any Analysis tools). However, a search in the Living Atlas, brings up 0 results (see image below). When I return to what will soon be the Map Viewer Classic and perform the same search, Tapestry shows up immediately and can be added to the map? (image below as well)Glitch? Gremlins? Thank you very much! Susan

This is likely in the realm of minutia, but I've been unable to find any explicit information (and I need to explain this to others!): What is the difference between the flashing "double-circle" icon versus the solid state "single-circle" icon (that appears after touching the flashing icon) in the Survey123 field app map button OR in taking a photo? I'm sure it has something to do with location accuracy and/or location averaging, but again, I cannot find any detailed explanation for its use. I've attached BEFORE touching and AFTER touching screenshots for (hopefully) greater clarity 😉 Thank you VERY much! Susan

Dear Owen, Thank you so much for your reply! I've followed your advice. However, opening the existing map to Map Viewer Beta did exactly the same thing (distorted the placement of the Map Notes text). I thought I might be able to use the Edit tool as well, but it would not work in the Beta Version (only allowing me to Edit the shapefile features, not the Map Notes, even though selected). Then, I thought to add a new Map Notes layer as one would do in the older version of Add>Add Map Notes -- but, that is not even an option in the Beta version (yet, maybe?) At any rate, I've made the map public -- if you have any other thoughts, I'd very much appreciate it! Thank you again, Susan

Using the new StoryMaps, I believe I've found a possible "glitch" -- when adding a map with map notes (and bookmarks), and no matter whether I chose Sidecar, Slideshow or even just the older Map from the content block options, the Map Notes on the original ArcGIS Online web map show up misaligned and distorted from their original placement. Please see attached images - can you please assist? And, here's a link to the map: https://arcg.is/15rjDC Or -- if not a glitch or bug -- is there something I am doing in error? Thank you very much! Susan

Excellent, thank you! I am teaching an intro GIS class, and have had to move from ArcGIS Desktop to ArcGIS Online. I was initially baffled by my students inability to see a GeoPoint button as per my written instructions, revised only over the last weekend, but figured this is what happened a few minutes into the class - sent the link to the students as well Thanks again!
