I have created a custom basemap, ie: I have set up my map in AGOL for editing and offline use and have added it as a map link in Survey123 connect for the specific survey that I am working with. Additionally I have gone into my settings in connect and selected map types Standard(Beta). What I am wondering is if it is possible to share a custom basemap across multiple surveys without adding it to the basemap gallery for my organization in AGOL and adding it as an added map link? Any insight would be appreciated!

I am exploring making Ortho Products in Pro, Primarily we use Inpho by Trimble but have found the program to be less than user friendly and thus far Pro hasn't been much better. I have been getting many Error Messages that have no real solution, including one that said Pro did not have permission to access the folder my Images are in? I have also noticed that unless all my data is in the one directory, the project fails repeatedly. Additionally, I am wondering if there is a way to bypass the block adjustment? We have an exterior orientation file and AT Solution. Has anyone experienced this or successfully built Ortho Products in Pro? Thanks in Advance

James, I have since added in the additional character just to test the formula again and it does work. I did this three time for 3 different locations. I then took out the added character and went with my original calculation. The first submission worked, but the second did not and I got the same error.

Hi James, The issue is definitely with the last substr(), but the formula is supposed to take the first four digits of the LAT and LONG fields, not including decimals and -, therefore substr(${LONG}, 3, 5) will not work. I am looking into discussing with my colleagues to see if we can choose another combination of characters for this special ID (PDD_ID).

Hi All, I have created a survey for our forestry department and keep getting this error when I test the survey. The Calculation that is giving me trouble is: concat(substr(${LAT},0,2),substr(${LAT}, 3,5),substr(${LONG},1,4),substr(${LONG},5)). PDD_ID is a unique identifier for the department and is how they identify the area or block they are surveying. Typically the error arises when I added in the last Substr. In and of itself, the substring calculations work as do the concatenations. It seems as though the error is happening when they are combined. What I have done: I have lengthened all fields to an appropriate size in both Survey123 and ArcGIS Pro. I have created fake fields and tried the same calculation, while also breaking down the calculation. I have attached a copy of my XLSX. Is there a work around for this? It feel as though I have tried everything. Thank You in Advance

Hi All, A colleague of mine is exploring the idea of writing an arcade expression for Graduated Symbols in ArcGIS Online. I have been doing some research and have only found resources on writing expressions for time, date and size. More specifically, in his AGOL webmap he has chosen to display the data using Graduated Symbols. For range, you get to choose the upper range, for example 100 or 1000 and the lowest being 0 but the values in between are predetermined. Is there a way to change this or write an expression so you choose the range. To clarify, I am not speaking to the size of the symbol. Any insight at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am also having the same issue. Survey 123 is not recognizing my relationship classes for one of my tables, The relationship is built on a GUID. I'm wondering if it is a bug with the most recent version of Connect.

I am trying to create a survey in Survey 123 Connect that has a geodatabase compiled of three tables and two relationship classes. All tables have a GUID and Unique Global ID. The two relationship classes are connected by the GUID as the primary and foreign key. The tables have been published to AGOL as a Hosted Feature Service ( Hosted Feature Table). When trying to create the survey in Survey 123 Connect, Survey 123 seems to be hanging on (Spinning) on 1 of the 3 tables. Any thoughts as to why this may be happening? TIA

I have created a survey for some colleagues to enter their Timber Cruising data. Recently it has been brought to my attention that when my colleagues go into the inbox to edit a record they are noticing that some of the data is not repopulating or being returned when they go to edit a point. The points that are specifically being targeted are those that are in the 500 range and for one specific location.. In total we have 2100 related records. I guess what I am wondering is if there are any limits of the inbox in Survey 123? Is it possible to have too many records in an inbox? Has anyone experience this before?
