Any idea on what is causing the editing bar to be repositioned to the top after a second edit is activate? Any change I make usually results in the editing bar not show up after the changes.

I am exploring the functionally of this editing code I was directed to which allows for a start/stop editing function that allows both editing and use of the information window when selecting features, http://jsfiddle.net/kr5kC/18/. I am wondering what is controlling the height of the editing window when you click 'Start Editing'. I would like to increase the height to fully utilize the screen space. I can alter the ContentPane's width but can not pinpoint the controls of the editing window itself. -Thank you.

I have included the code from the link into my trigger folder in SQL Server. The Latitude and Longitude data is only added after I manually execute the code and refresh my edits. Do you know how to get the trigger to execute automatically as soon as a point is created?

Thank you for the link. Can you please confirm this would be the correct syntax if my feature service is named “EVENT_POINTS” with “latitude” & “longitude” named fields. And do I add just add this to the trigger folder under the feature service in SQL Server? Thank you. CREATE TRIGGER [XY_calc] ON dbo.EVENT_FEATURES AFTER INSERT AS UPDATE dbo.EVENT_FEATURES SET latitude = Shape.STX, longitude = Shape.STY WHERE latitude is null or longitude is null

I am attempting to have the latitude & longitude fields be automatically populated when a user adds a new point feature via my web application. I am using a SDE point feature service with ArcGIS Server 10.2.2 with SQL Server 2012. I have come across some comments that it might be able to employ a SQL Server trigger in the table but I have no experience with triggers or how to code it. Basically if anyone has any information they can point me to would be much appreciative. -Thanks

Thank you for your help. I was able to get the web map to work using the local API to at home on a network enabled computer. The code appears to be referencing the local JavaScript API but I am baffled as to what this Kaspersky main.js file is or where it comes from as there is no mention of it in the html file. The Kaspersky code is visible when I “View Source” of the web map but it is not present in the html file. Is the main.js a required file and if so how to I reference it without it automatically being added? <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/> <title>Simple Map OMG did this work</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://localhost/arcgis_js_api/library/3.15/3.15compact/dijit/themes/tundra/tundra.css"/> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://localhost/arcgis_js_api/library/3.15/3.15compact/esri/css/esri.css"/> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ff.kis.scr.kaspersky-labs.com/1B74BD89-2A22-4B93-B451-1C9E1052A0EC/main.js" charset="UTF-8"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://localhost/arcgis_js_api/library/3.15/3.15compact/init.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> dojo.require("esri.map"); function init() { var myMap = new esri.Map("mapDiv"); //note that if you do not have public Internet access then you will need to point this url to your own locally accessible cached service. var myTiledMapServiceLayer = new esri.layers.ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer("http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/NGS_Topo_US_2D/MapServer"); myMap.addLayer(myTiledMapServiceLayer); } dojo.addOnLoad(init); </script> </head> <body class="tundra"> <div id="mapDiv" style="width:900px; height:600px; border:1px solid #000;"></div> </body> </html>

I added /dojo/ to the end of my location in init.js and dojo.js files to now read "localhost/ArcGIS_js_api/library/3.15/3.15/dojo". This appears to have resolved the three error messages I was encountering. Now When I open the sample html I am presented with the "Powered By esri" icon and hyperlink in the bottom right of the map but the map is still blank otherwise. If it is a hostname issue I am unsure what it would be. I extracted the API to 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot' and setup that folder within my IIS Default Website. I can access and open the following folders/files using these links http://localhost/arcgis_js_api/library/3.15/3.15/init.js http://localhost/arcgis_js_api/library/3.15/3.15/dijit/themes/tundra/tundra.css http://localhost/arcgis_js_api/library/3.15/3.15/esri/css/esri.css

I have installed the JavaScript API locally to use in a developer environment with no internet connection. The issue I am encountering is when I attempt to view the sample service hosted by ArcServer I am presented with a blank white page. The sample service is visible when viewed in Desktop & Catalog so I presume the issue is related to my installing of the JavaScript API and setting it for local use. I believe I followed the windows install notes for JavaScript 3.15 to the letter using the Normal build. I extracted and copied \arcgis_js_api\library to the C:\Inetpub\wwwroot folder. I opened init.js & dodo.js and replaced both [HOSTNAME_AND_PATH_TO_JSAPI] with mysitehere/arcgis_js_api/library/3.15/3.15/ (did not include http://) I successfully tested http://mysitehere/arcgis_js_api/library/3.15/3.15/init.js and was prompted with init.js opening. http://i.imgur.com/vdmEeXh.jpg I am unable to replicate the next step of validating the JSAPI library install using the sample service when accessing it with http://. http://i.imgur.com/WBF4DVZ.jpg I continue with the installation document and change the ArcGIS Services Directory “View In JavaScript” URL to the ones in the document http://i.imgur.com/7esFjsW.jpg Lastly I copied the following code to the <ArcGIS Server Install Location>ArcGIS\Server\framework\runtime\tomcat\webapps\arcgis#rest\www\client\mapserver\mapserverJSAPI.jsp file <style> @import "<%=jsapiArcgisCssUrl%>"; @import "<%=cpath%>/static/jsapi.css"; @import "<%=jsapiArcgisUrl%>/js/esri/css/esri.css"; </style> This is my first attempt at attempting to setup a developer environment and any help is greatly appreciative in determining what I am doing wrong. Thank you.
