We had been experiencing the same issue recently when moving to 10.2.1. We found a fix for this issue. The path for your portal or ArcGIS Online account needs to be set within the ArcGIS Administrator. Open the ArcGIS administrator, open the advanced configuration window. Then open Manage Portal Connections and add the address for your AGOL organization or your internal portal. Once the connection is added, select it and Connect. Click Ok through all of the dialog boxes. Now try publishing your services. This fixed the issue for us; hopefully it can help someone else out.

The article you referenced did not turn out to be the issue, I am still unclear about what is different about this dataset. Its not causing any problems right now its just something strange I noticed... If we find a solution, I will be sure to post it.

When say type of connection do you mean direct connect or through SDE? I am connecting using SDE. I will take a look at this documentation. Thanks.

Hi All, We are currently working through an upgrade from 10.1 to 10.2.1 and in troubleshooting I noticed when in ArcCatalog I can not view privileges assigned to a particular dataset. I can view privileges of all other datasets except this one. We have verified the proper rights and roles are assigned at the database level. When I try to open the privileges dialog for the 'problem' dataset nothing comes up. Maybe we are missing something simple. It is worth mentioning this is an issue with both our 10.1 database and 10.2.1 database. Does anyone have any thoughts about what might be causing this behavior? Thank you for the help.

I can speak to the use of Yuma tablets, as I have no experience with the Trimble Juno. We have had 4 Yumas for about 5 years now (Windows 7, 32bit) and they have performed well for us. They have held up incredibly well as they were used for a pole inventory project and taken out in the field almost daily for 4 years. It is nice to give users a familiar operating system and of course this is also a benefit from an administration stand point. I would have no problem buying more to use for field inspections especially if you think they will be abused or exposed to the elements. The large screen (large compared to the Juno) is also nice. I think it really boils down to what you need the device for because each option has specs that might meet one need better than another. Good luck in your choice!
