M D Johnson, A Reviewer result/error is typically created against a row/feature in source feature class. When a custom check creates a PLTSError, it will be able to define the row on which the error occurred. We do this by identifying the source feature. Typically this information is stored in the error as part of the ObjectID field. Also, where there is no geometry (error geometry for an error) provided for the IPLTSError (set using IPLTSError2 interface ), the system tries to use the original feature's geometry as the error geometry for the feature. In your case, you are looking for an ability to create an error for the feature class and not pointing to any particular feature. This is currently not supported as part of Reviewer Custom Check. There is alternative, but this cannot be run as part of a batch job. You will need to write a custom button/command/tool which can use Write To Reviewer Table sample to write this as an error to Reviewer table. This will create an error in the Reviewer errors that points to the feature class. The sample link I referenced is an old version. But you will need to modify a couple of namespaces and code to be able to do this. Also there will be one more change from the sample code that you will need to make to get this working correctly. Let me know if this helps. Thanks, Shankar

Hello Gaber, I see that you have taken a look at the existing sample which implements IPLTSCNTSelectionSetValExtension interface. You are correct in thinking that you need to implement IPLTSCNTWorkspaceValExtension for getting access to all feature classes and tables in a workspace. We currently don't have a code sample that illustrates the same. But I wanted to clarify on how Reviewer provides specific information to the custom code based on the different interfaces. IPLTSCNTSelectionSetValExtension - The input in your custom code would be a Selection set of features. This selection set is derived from the feature class you configured in the Custom Check dialog based on how you run the Check. IPLTSCNTObjectClassValExtension - The input in your custom code would be a Feature Class/Table. This is the same feature class you configure in the Custom Check dialog. IPLTSCNTWorkspaceValExtension - The input in your custom code would be a IWorkspace object. This is the same workspace that you had configured in the Custom Check Dialog. Your custom code could expect a an IWorkspace and get access to all different feature classes and tables in the workspace. If you have more questions on how the Custom Check should be configured in a workspace scenario, please let me know and I can provide pointers on how to do this. As we try to add more code samples for future releases, it would be a good assumption for you to make that, that an IWorkspace is going to be passed to your custom code and you can use that object to get the required tables and feature classes similar to accessing an IWorkspace arcobject. Hi Harald, Looks like you have solved your configuration problem. That is good. I just wanted to add a note that currently the Report Feature widget works on dynamic map service layers and you would need to add them as operation layers. It doesn't work on Feature layers. This limitation will be handled soon in another release of Report Feature widget. Regarding the other widgets, we are focused on releasing them soon. I can't provide a time frame at this point. But we are trying to get them out as soon as possible. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding the API and use ArcGIS Data Reviewer Server. Also let us know if you think the help document is not clear for setting up the widget.
