Kinda feel the same way about Collector (Map Based Mobile Data Collection Application) and Survey 1-2-3 (Form Based Mobile Data Collection Application). Could it not just be one app with different app configuration options during the build process (whether or not you want to focus on the form or the map) There are under the hood reasons for it apparently, however having them as multiple applications leads to unnecessary app creep IMHO...

Without an apply button, ArcGIS Pro is re-drawing the map for every symbology attribute change. Example: Raster - Display Background Value - This part of the symbology pane has a check box and 3 fields to set the RGB values you want the change the display for. Changing this sends 4 redraw requests to the map despite only 1 needing to be done. I would prefer to have to click apply in all scenarios over having to deal with multiple redraws with no purpose.

Want to replace existing web apps (data driven, mapping is secondary) from ArcIMS and non-GIS however all of ESRI app builders require a subscription to ArcGIS online. Is there no way to build GIS apps to run from our own GIS server without having to subscribe to ArcGIS online?
