I'm trying to create a task to set the data source of a table within my project. I'm trying to have the table properties open up automatically to allow the user to set the data source. I'm trying to use the Command 'Standalone Table Properties' but seems to not be working when I run the command. I've tried other Commands like 'Layer Properties', 'Feature Properties', and 'Data Source' but haven't had luck. Is this a known issue or have any of you found a workaround for this type of command? Any help is much appreciated!

Jianxia, Thank you for the tip. I noticed that if I shared it through arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer, none of my hyperlinks are visible on the banner. Can that only be accessed if shared through the org link?

Eric, So far the only issues I have experienced with the WebApp builder is the ability to share with the public. Like other AGOL web maps, if everything (map, data, ect...) is shared with the public, then anyone with the link can access the map. Unfortunately, with the WebApp builder, you will need an AGOL organization account to access the public shared map. Even though everything is shared with the public, including the App, you will still need an AGOL account to access the map. Hope this helps!

Thank you for the reply Paul. Price is no issue, and since it will be used by the city planners, the otterbox case will suffice for rugged protection. I agree with you about the 7-9 " tablets but the planners like the big screen. I have done test with Galaxy tab and words great, but had issues with the scrolling on the Ipad. Management wants the latest devices and want one of each. Have you experienced any issues or reported bugs using the Note Tab? I should add that they will be using collector

I'm not sure, but I don't recommend them based on our experience based solely on visibility in the sunlight. Can't see it, can't collect it. You had no such issue with your Samsung? So far no issues... but we are going out in the field the second half of the day.

Ipad - can't see the screen in the sunlight. Not sure about others, but this is a serious draw back. Make sure you take any tablet out on a sunny day to test before buying. Which IOS is the Pad? Our planners were using their iphones IOS7 and were having issues scrolling to the bottom of the attribute table. This made it especially difficult for them to view their attachments

Hi guys, We are getting ready to purchase tablets for our planners to use on the field. I have been using my Samsung galaxy out there and has been working great. Are there any certain devices that works better than the other? (Android and Apple) What's all your experiences like using your current device? We just want to get the best device for the job right the first time, and not waste money a second time around. Any feedback is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Still not seeing them, don't know what I'm doing wrong. My process: In my AGOL webmap I "PREFORM ANALYSIS" on my line feature service with attachments enabled > MANAGE DATA > EXTRACT DATA > to a File Geodatabase.zip In ArcMap I try to add this new File Geodatabase and all I see is the line feature class under the GDB...with no accompanied table. When I info, there is no sign of my image popping up or hyperlinked. Anything jumping out at you based on my process? I gotta be doing something simple wrong... Im positive my feature service has image attachments. Thanks! When you use the Identity tool in Arcmap and select the feature, do you see attachments on the left side of the Identity window? Looks like a paper clip and says attachments

Morning Everyone, Hope someone can give me some pointers. I am testing the Collector app on Android and Ipad at the moment. All works well with editing and capturing points and attributes. I want to add photo's to my points during capturing. I have looked at the documentation and it seems to be easy in ArcGIS 10.2, I am only using 10.0. What would be the right way to get this working without the "save as service" option in 10.2? Regards In ArcGIS online go to the page of the feature service and enable attachments. I attached a screenshot to this reply

Hello Russ: The CameraMax app did work. The only issue is the length of time it took for the phone to update the map. A best practice would seem to be to not be too quick to walk "off-station" while waiting for the map to update with the attached photo. One new wrinkle: For some reason there is now a copy of the map I was updating in my ArcGIS Online account for organizations. I suppose it is possible I somehow created a copy, I am just not sure of the new web map copy. Both updated fine vai the collector app and photo MX. Thanks for the suggestion. Rob How big is the resolution in your photos? I have noticed that if photo being save has a high resolution setting it can take a bit to upload. If I change the resolution to a lower setting, the attachment is saved quicker.

I've read in a couple of places that offline use was something that would be supported with version 10.2 but now that seems to not be the case. Not having the ability to use this app offline is a deal breaker for us because we have no cell reception in most places we're collecting data. Can anyone provide an update on when this capability might be coming? Look for offline capabilities in the next update around early 2014. If need offline support sooner look into either ArcPad or ArcGIS for Windows

I was able to repro this on a iPhone 5 and iPad 2 running iOS 7.0.3. I have logged an issue in our internal system. Thanks for reporting this. Russ Np! Thanks for the reply!

Hey guys, I created a custom attribute display in ArcGIS online and when reading the contents in Android everything works fine. But when I view the contents on the newer apple IOS phone devices (not pad) it wont let you stroll to the bottom of the page. You can stroll to the bottom with your fingers sliding down, but when u release the finger the page slides back to the top (It wont stay locked in the bottom of the page) I tried replicating the same issue on the older apple phones and did not replicate. It works perfectly fine on the older apple phones.
