We are able to get the metes and bounds description from an existing polygon in ArcGis Desktop but I am unable to find how to accomplish this in ArcGIS Pro? In Desktop you capture a polygon, turn on edit then open the Traverse tool right click and you are able to get the metes and bounds calls for the polygon but when I try the same steps in PRO nothing?

I was pulled off this for a few days, so after being out of the application. I ran the models again this morning. They are all working perfectly just as they were originally, no changes. Guess it was some kind of clinch in the system. Thanks!

Thanks for the response JayantaPoddar! But I am confused I have ran these models for years and have never had this issue......is this something new that is required? I added preconditions (not sure if I did this correctly) but I'm still getting the same result......pull all the data into the new layers?

I created some simple model builder to breakout data into layers by status. But when I ran the model this morning, I received no errors and it created the layers. BUT the output layers has all the data, the "Select Layer by Attribute" did not capture the statuses I had selected to pull over for each layer? NO error message given, ran like it normally does but the results are wrong? Has something changed with the Model Builder?

Since HBP has to be a solid color, I tested workaround-2. I found that changing the order of the records in the shapefile does NOT negatively effect my other work with the shapefile. So going with the 2nd fix! Thank you again for your help.

These are minerals we have leased so all but one have an overlapping polygon (the lease). I create the symbology to put the Mineral Deed on top (orange hash) so you could see the lease give (blue solid) underneath. But you only see a few of the Deeds. I did zoom out and it still shows only the few deeds as when zoomed in. I can create a separate layer just for the Deeds but was hoping not having to do that each time.

I am trying to change the decimal place to my acres in ArcPro which is easily done in ArcDesktop (added screen shots of both). I right click on the field in Desktop go to Properties - Number format make changes. But when I try that in Pro there is NO Properties on the drop down AM I missing something. I thought I had gone here before in Pro and made this change. I'm I going to the wrong place??

FYI - When you hit the traverse tool under the Edit tab nothing happens other than your cursor changes to allow you to start your beginning place....nothing else happens. I finally started clicking on different tabs and finally found that once you start the tool IF you click on the MODIFY FEATURE tab is where you can enter the calls for the metes and bounds description. Maybe ESRI can put that kind of information in the steps to use the tool OR have that window open up when you click the traverse tool.

Is anyone else having problems working with the Traverse tool in ArcGis Pro? I've been unable to get it to work or find anything helpful so I have to go back to Desktop where I have no problem using the traverse too. My goal this year was to move over to Pro completely, but if I cannot figure out how to plot a metes and bound description I might as well stay in Desktop. Any advice or links to a video would be greatly appreciated!
