Thank you so much for your insightful response. Your explanations have significantly contributed to a better understanding of my issue. I'm going to try the suggested method of changing the JSON definition of the service layer. I appreciate your patience and expertise in helping me troubleshoot this problem. I'll reach out if I encounter any more issues or need further assistance. Best Regards,

Thank you for your detailed response. It's clear now that the issue is related to the split policy of the domain, which is set to Default, hence setting all fields to Null on split. However, I am working on a web map and as far as I know, the policy of the domain cannot be changed directly in this environment. Is there any workaround for this issue when dealing with a web map in ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise? I appreciate your time and assistance on this issue. Best Regards,

Thank you for your response. I apologize if my initial description was unclear. To clarify, I am indeed trying to split a polygon using the Split tool. I am not working with a multipart polygon, so I don't believe the Explode tool would apply in this case. I have now uploaded some images which should better represent my process: In these images, you can see the polygon I'm attempting to split, the cutting line I'm using with the Split tool, and the resulting polygons in the attribute table with all fields set to null. The reason I'm using the Split tool is because I need to cut a polygon into two distinct polygons. I expect the resulting polygons to inherit attributes from the original polygon, but this isn't happening. I appreciate your help with this issue and look forward to your response. Best Regards,

Dear ArcGIS Support, I am experiencing an issue when using the Split tool in ArcGIS Pro. Upon splitting a polygon, the figure disappears from the map. Although the resulting two polygons still exist in the attribute table, all of their fields are set to null and they do not inherit the attributes from the original polygon. Here are the steps I have followed: I select the polygon I want to split. I use the Split tool to draw a cutting line and split the polygon. The figure disappears from the map and the resulting polygons in the attribute table have all fields set to null. I have checked the geometry of the polygons and it appears to be correct, and I am using the latest version of ArcGIS Pro. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this issue. Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response. Best Regards Rodrigo Lama.

Hello, I am using the ArcGIS Field Maps application to record track lines or paths of machines in the field. I would like to know if there is any way to automatically convert these track lines into polygons and calculate their area directly within the application using the Arcade scripting language. The goal is to be able to calculate the surface area traversed by the machine in real time as the track is being recorded. I understand that Arcade can calculate areas and lengths, but I am unsure of how I could close off the track line to form a polygon. I am open to suggestions, and any guidance on how I might approach this problem would be greatly appreciated. If there is a function or tool in Arcade, in Field Maps, or elsewhere in the ArcGIS suite that could help me achieve this goal, I would like to know about it. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. Best regards,

I am sharing a map with another organization in ArcGIS Enterprise, and every time they try to access the map, they are prompted to enter their credentials for the server that is sharing the map. Is there a way to save these credentials to avoid double authentication?

Yes, there is a way to call and store that information in the collected function using an Arcade expression in Field Maps. You can use the 'Nearest' function to get the nearest route to the point and then use the 'Interpolate' function to get the M value at that position on the route line. Here is an example of how this Arcade expression could be written: // Get the nearest route to the point var nearestRoute = Nearest($feature, 'Routes'); // Get the M value at the point's position on the route line var mValue = Interpolate(nearestRoute, $feature.x, $feature.y, 'M'); // Store the M value in a custom field $feature.M_Value = mValue; Please note that you need to make sure that both the point and the route feature have M-values fields before using this expression, and also you must make sure that both point and route feature are in the same coordinate system.

Thank you for your response, but the "divide" option is not active for me. It seems that I have to select the layer first. However, the content panel is not showing any other elements, it only shows the map.

Dear community, I find it incredible that no one has yet proposed adding a search function to easily locate a specific area or region within the map. It seems like this feature is only designed for small maps. However, when dealing with large maps with many properties scattered throughout the country, it's unfeasible to manually search for areas or sectors instead of using a known code or name to quickly reach it. This tool or feature is highly necessary as our clients are constantly complaining about its absence.

Dear community, when I publish a map through ArcGIS Pro, all the layers are contained in a single service renamed as "_WFL". This is very annoying, especially when I want to use one of the layers in another map and not the whole set of layers. The problem becomes even worse, as I only want to share one layer from "_WFL", I went into the container and selected the layer of interest to create a view, the view layer is created correctly but when trying to open the view, it stays endlessly loading and does not show any data and when trying to load it on the map, it doesn't show anything or gives an error that indicates that the view cannot be loaded on the map. Please help me or provide me with any other ideas.
