As a workaround for this issue until you see the solution you've suggested, I would do the following. In ArcMap, convert the raster you desire to have popups to a polygon shapefile ("Raster to polygon" Conversion Tool), making sure the value you are concerned with seeing in the popup (i.e. elevation) is in the 'Field' box of the tool. Then publish both the raster and the sister polygon layer to AGOL and put them in a map together. Symbolize the raster as desired and I suggest giving the polygon no symbology, so that is can simply serve as a "popup provider" for the raster layer.

When creating/editting a group I would like there to be a setting for designating which content type (i.e. All Results, Maps, Layers, Scenes, Apps, etc.) is defaulted to when group members go to the groups page. For example, I have groups where the majority of the members are only interested in viewing the Apps in that group and not all the additional content (such as Layers or Maps) that must also be shared with the group in order for said Apps to function properly. It would nice if I could edit the group's setting so that when a user navigated to that group it defaulted to Apps under 'Group Content' rather than All Results (see below).

I too would like to see more functionality built into the story tour app. However, as a current work around I've employed to allow end users to get back to the intro slide without refreshing the page; click on "Organize" while in builder mode, and uncheck 'Use the first point as introduction'. This does add the slide as point 1 on your map which isn't ideal, but until these improvement are potentially made it's the quickest solution I've found.

I would like the splash page feature for ArcGIS Online apps (such as the "Simple Viewer") to allow the app to load in the background when it pops up (rather than the blank background which currently occurs). I have a number of public information apps with instructional splash pages, but I think the blank screen behind the splash page is a little misleading when someone has just clicked on a link they think is leading them to a "Map." I think the end user experience would be improved if when they opened an app with a splash page they could see the app ("Map") in the background.

I would like there to be a way to share Web Applications at a certain level on ArcGIS Online without also having to share the Web Map controlling it and the associated Feature Layers at the same level. For example, I currently have a Web App being shared within a Group (of account holders who are "Users") in my Organization. In order for everyone within the Group to have access to said App without it breaking, I also have to share with the Group the Web Map that said App is tied to and the associated Feature Layers that have been added to the Map. For data security/integrity purposes, I would prefer to keep the Web Map and Feature Layers unshared (i.e. Private), and still be able to share the App with the Group without it breaking.
