If you just export 1 layer do you get the whole thing? If so you could always do multiple .geodatabase files.

I've had 100% success doing the following for read-only base layer data: 1. Zoom to extent of my data in ArcMap 2. Set Full Extent of data frame in Layers->Properties to the current display 3. Save MXD 4. Use "Create Runtime Content" ArcToolbox commend and be sure to select "Current Display" as the extent to export. For editable feature data (from a feature service) I'm not sure why you aren't getting everything - is it possible that you have data with invalid geometries or no geometry? We haven't experienced any issues pulling a geodatabase using a feature service source.

This looks like it would do the trick: http://gpxframework.com You should be able to just iterate over a feature set and push the items into the GPX file.

Is it possible to rename the file(s) received after downloading a .geodatabase from an ArcGIS Server request? They are named with some sort of timestamp by default, but it would be handy if we could then save them with a different name. Thanks

There are numerous scanner API's for iOS which would probably work just fine with the ESRI iOS SDK. After all - they are just providing a number string which you could then plug into any field. You might also look at the RedLaser SDK http://redlaser.com/developers/ It lets you use the iOS camera as a barcode scanner - eliminating the need for an external accessory.

The way I understand Apple's intentions I don't think there is anything for ESRI to support. Xcode will create swift bindings to the Objective C classes automatically. I guess they could start doing documentation and demos with swift code

I'm preparing to set up our first app using licensing at the standard level. All the examples and demo apps make reference to using arcgis.com or an in-house portal for this, but we don't have a portal set up. I think I remember hearing at the Dev Summit that it would be possible to perform the licensing against an ArcGIS server without the portal component - is this true? If so do I need to do anything differently from the examples? Thanks!

Really need to be able to see and query the non-spatial tables in a .geodatabase file. Is this on the radar soon? -Mike
