Hi all, I am looking to set up an Enterprise to Enterprise distributed collaboration in the near future. I was wondering if once the collaboration is set up between our two organizations, is it possible to set the guest's portal as my 'active portal' in ArcGIS Pro or Survey123 Connect and publish content directly to them? Thanks! - Mark

Ismael, Thanks for the quick response! I think the display field I'm referring to is different. I have the popup configured to display what I want it to, which is the Pole Name. The issue is that when I search for this pole within the Dashboard, the dropdown shows the Object ID associated with that pole name instead of the pole name itself. In image below, the drop-down when searching for Pole 87 (OID = 182) brings up the OIDs of anything with '87' in the pole name, including 87, 187, 287, etc. (Image 1), which is due to a setting that might be deeper in the data layer's properties (Image 2). When I publish directly from Pro to Portal with the display field already set to Pole Name, searching functions exactly as expected. I could bring the survey layer into Pro, create a local copy, change the display settings in the layer properties, and re-publish it to Portal, but many of our surveys have a ton of image attachments, making it very cumbersome and time consuming to do this workaround. Hi all! I'm looking to define the display field of the hosted feature layer that gets created when publishing from Survey123 Connect to Portal before the publishing actually occurs. The reason I'm trying to do this is even when my web map's search settings point to a specific attribute field from that layer, when a search occurs in an Operations Dashboard, it still tries to point to the Object ID field, which is the default display field. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! - Mark

I would like to select multiple answers to a single question in Collector for ArcGIS like you can do in Survey123. Collector fits our needs in just about every other way but this, so using Survey123 instead isn't an option for us. Use example: Our crews go out and collect data for utility inspections. One piece of information they collect is what type of insulators are on electric distribution / transmission poles. In some instances, there are multiple types of insulators present. Having 2 or 3 of this and other questions in the Collector layer is cumbersome and difficult to scroll through in the field, so a multiple-answer checkbox option in Collector would be super helpful. Thanks!

Hi all, We are currently using Enterprise 10.6.1, and are looking to update to 10.7.1 in the near future. I was wondering - will crews using & syncing downloaded content on field apps Collector and Survey123 be affected by the update? I don't want them to have to re-download everything, but would also like to update sooner rather than later. Any insight into this would be helpful. Thanks! Mark

This feature would significantly improve our workflows as well. Hopefully check boxes to select multiple features are on their way!

After working with ESRI tech support, the (correct) conclusion was made that our UAV needed to be re-calibrated after imagery from other drones created an orthomosaic and everything else just fine.

Hey everyone, I'm using a d2m trial, and am having trouble getting it to create my orthomosaic. 'Create Orthomosaic' and 'Merge Tiles' are checked in processing options, I can watch it being processed in the Processing Log without any errors, but no ortho is actually added to the project, nor is it anywhere to be found in my project folder. The processing report shows a preview of everything as it should look, including the ortho, but only the DSM and DTM are actually created and added to the project. In case any of this helps: - I'm running on Drone2Map 1.3.1.226 - The project is 133 images (1.11gb) - Images were taken by a Mavic Air, and the flight plan was drawn up using Pix4D Capture - Average GSD is 2.04 cm Has anyone else run into this issue / know how to fix it? Thanks!
