Surely the relative size and location can be maintained and not create chaos by simply having the windows pop up on that x,y point in the active ArcGIS Pro screen only, not the overall desktop space. And also, it should made active and take focus. It's absolutely no good for it to pop up behind another window on another screen. Have had a user who has a pop-up popping up outside the available desktop space and the only way to access it is by Alt+Space and Maximise. For a week they were thinking ArcGIS Pro had crashed and killing it via Task Manager.

What if... (thinking out loud)... you used a selection of the original polygon records for the street/road parcel, to get a Selection of those property line segments you have which are completely contained by the street/road parcel? Then a Calculate Geometry of the length of the resulting lines? (Hope that makes sense). . Luis

Hello Mark, I don't think it got fixed in Drone2Map 2023.1. Installed by running MSIEXEC as follows: msiexec.exe /i Drone2Map.msi CHECKFORUPDATESATSTARTUP=0 [...] And checked the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Esri\Drone2Map\Settings\CheckForUpdatesAtStartup = 0. But the 'About' screen still checks and says "Your Drone2Map version is current". Maybe the next patch... or version... . Luis

Hello, We're setting up the Drone2Map 2022.1.2 package to be made available to network users via SCCM (Software Centre) in Windows. Part of the usual security setup is to disable the "Check for updates on startup" since users aren't able to execute the update without elevated privileges. When we package ArcGIS Pro, we use the flag "CHECKFORUPDATESATSTARTUP=0" in the msiexec command. This is not a valid flag in Drone2Map 2022.1, and has no effect. It will persist showing "A software update is available for Drone2Map" in the About section. Even when unticking the "Check for updates on startup" box, it will check and offer the update next time the application is ran. In ArcGIS Pro, the About section shows "Checking for updates is blocked". Any ideas or workaround are appreciated. Thank you in advance. - Luis

Hello, I agree with Robert above. Pro would use the 64bit version of Access DB engine. When we've 'packaged' ArcGIS apps for our organisation, we've had to include both versions for Pro and Desktop users. Since Microsoft 365 came about, it became a bit of a problem because of compatibility with the Standard Operating Environment. Having said all this, in our testing, we have seen cases where people in our team, with seemingly identical setups, would be successful and not when trying to open an Excel file in ArcGIS Pro. So in the next version, we'll be including both 32bit and 64bit versions of ADE and save ourselves the trouble. . Luis

Hello, We had troubles accessing the usual SQL Server databases at work when we tried using the MS SQL ODBC driver version 18.0, initially. I think there was a patch for Pro which fixed this? Either way, it made us stay with 17.8.1.1 for longer. (We still have it even for Pro 3.0.x, since there are users in the organisation who use ArcGIS Desktop 10.8.x still, and it won't work if SQL ODBC 18.1 is installed, even if 17.8.1.1 is also installed.) I believe the SQL Server version comes into play too. A few things worth checking there, perhaps. . Luis

Hello, It seems this was a problem with 1.3.1 and still present 1.3.2 in our environment. And it was a clash with ArcGIS Pro 2.2.4 being installed. From our local documentation: "After much experimentation, it has been identified that the problem is caused by the registry value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ESRI\ArcGISPro\Licensing\ARC_PRO_AUTH_TYPE, which is set to STANDARD. Removal of this registry value after the Pro installation allows Drone2Map to launch normally again. Re-adding it re-introduces the Drone2Map failure. This fixes version 1.3.2 too." I'm trying to find information about it being an official bug, but haven't found any yet. (I did find this question though). But trying it elsewhere, might perhaps help. . Luis
