As an Information System Designer, I integrate GIS as an analysis tool that is under-utilized in most agencies and organizations... Has anyone used GIS tools for cost or budgeting analysis -- aligned to event heat maps for things like crime, health response or fire statistics? PSAP relies on call routing based on location. Has anyone used call data and GIS data to improve response by setting staffing, schedules or service overlap/mutual aid? Has anyone integrated device location and texting to emergency response? I know this is something the FCC is working on ... and agencies are trying to budget.. Thanks in advance
