I believe we also have a special character in our account password (!) so that makes sense. Thank you for the information! We did end up using the local monitor agent as our work around in this instance.

We get the same WinRM error as before, looks like it is slightly different than the topic's error though: We also see these errors show up in Administration --> Logs. Not sure if it is related to us trying to register this component or not related at all:

We also ran into this issue while working on registering a Windows host that was not domain joined and tried using a local administrator account via the FQDN. We worked around this by installing the Monitor Agent on the machine and using that agent to register the problematic host. If there is a better way to resolve this we would also benefit from that. Thanks!

I can't think of a way to get the attachment without the HTTP GET method so that will be necessary. That being said, is the ArcGIS Enterprise account that you are signed in with for this connector the same one that owns the survey? When you select the name of the survey it should automatically populate the dropdown for possible feature layer name options instead of you having to put it in yourself. That should also be the same for the report template: That being said, I checked the raw inputs after running a successful flow and this is how it looks. I removed some identifying information and formatting but the inputs below relate to the survey, feature layer, report template, object ID, report name, and format. Not sure if you were able to work this out but we use a similar workflow internally for some Survey123 items published to our ArcGIS Enterprise. With regards to a few of our setups, we use this simple flow: When a survey response is submitted Create report HTTP (this is used to obtain the attachment and the critical part of our flow) Send an email For the HTTP setup, you will need to use the GET method with url for the attachment (in the screenshot). Then you will need to use the body of the HTTP request as the attachment for email/file upload/etc... You can also have a branching flow where once you do the HTTP request, branch to send an email and upload to OneDrive. Hope this helps!

Our organization heavily uses Survey123 and Field Maps together for many projects. It would be very nice if we were able to more easily leverage the Survey123 reporting API to generate reports using feature services in Field Maps by adding keywords to attachments when they are added to a feature in Field Maps. Survey123 requires attachment keywords in order to link attachments to their required field in the report and it would be really awesome if this existed for Field Maps as well as we do a lot of reporting with photos. Here is a relevant post that also describes our workflows: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-questions/is-there-an-easy-way-to-update-the-keyword/m-p/862535#M26133 Thanks!

Yes I am - not sure if it also matters but the account I'm using to run the ArcGIS Monitor service is a gMSA. I just tried to re-run it and forcing run as administrator and got the same result.

Hello everyone, In attempting to upgrade Monitor 2023.0 to 2023.1, we ran into an issue where the installation would fail and then rollback the installation. Our first attempt in doing this caused our ArcGIS Monitor installation location to completely disappear save for three log files in ArcGIS/Monitor/bin/: arcgis-monitor-server-service.err arcgis-monitor-server-service.out arcgis-monitor-server-service.wrapper We managed to recover from a snapshot and get back up and running again. In trying to download the installer a second time, we checked the checksum and confirmed that it was correct however in trying to run through the upgrade, we were met with the same error again. 65BC35F7C463D731F690246B7FF95967D68030C3449A7793B05815F142FE7190 In looking in Event Viewer, we see the full message: Product: ArcGIS Monitor 2023.1 -- Error 1720. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Hi @AndrewSakowicz, thanks for the information! With regards to the components and collection interval: You are correct, these are mainly ArcGIS server services that collect every 5 minutes. We are monitoring seven ArcGIS Server nodes as of now but only one of them is the "large one" that contains the bulk of our services (~1100) and the other 400 services are spread across 6 different nodes. We will also be cleaning up We doubled the disk space this morning and will keep it at 200GB per the recommendation for 100GB per 1000 components and scale it up in the future but ultimately we will need to adjust the retention period

Hello, We've been using ArcGIS Monitor 2023 since February when it was released and we have so many alerts that go off daily that our 100GB drive that has the postgres db is almost full. For reference, we currently have ~1500 components that are registered to Monitor and we are expecting that number to increase in the coming months. I recall ArcGIS Monitor automatically clears out old alerts after a certain time but don't remember how often. Would it be possible to change the frequency of how often it happens? Or what would the manual process look like if we were to create a procedure to do it ourselves? Thanks! Alex Bakhtin

Without knowing the overall structure of the from itself, if the weather information you are loading is constant throughout the entire repeat, you can use pulldata() + JavaScript to be able to pull weather information from an API directly into Survey123. There is a JavaScript sample survey that contains what this workflow could look like in Survey123 Connect:

For anyone interested, I figured out an acceptable workaround if anyone finds themselves in a situation where they need to auto-populate a select_multiple based on what was selected in a previous select_multiple question. I got the overall idea of how to do this from the Repeats documentation. Create a repeat that has a max repeat count of selected items in the first select_multiple using count-selected() Inside of the repeat, use selected-at(${question_name}, pos(..)-1) to get each individual item selected into its own repeat. Use pulldata() to get associated attributes of each selected item Outside of the repeat, use join() to concatenate all attributes into a comma separated value Remove duplicate entries in the comma separated value (otherwise when you go to submit it will fail). I wrote a function to accomplish this in Javascript: function dupeclear(ppe_formatted_text) {
var x = ppe_formatted_text.toString();
x = Array.from(new Set(x.split(',')));
return x;
} 6. Use the cleaned up concatenated value as a calculation for the second select_multiple. Please note that the only downside to this method is that you need to cycle through each repeat manually to get the text field outside of the repeat to pull each value in. Once I figure out how to do that through a calculation (if possible) I will update the post. I probably didn't do the best job in writing this out so I'm also attaching the final sample workflow along with some notes in the hints of each field to this post.

Ah understood - I am familiar with working with cascading selects like that however I'm wondering if it is possible to preform a calculation that would automatically select options in a select_multiple based on what you select on a previous select_multiple question? I attached a quick video but in short, is it possible to have all of the food colors selected when all of the foods above are selected? With the way I have things set up currently, I can't seem to get it to work the way I would like. The actual calculation is happening from a pulldata() function: pulldata('color_csv', 'food_color', 'food_name', ${food_name}) And the color_csv file contains the following contents: food_name food_color apple red pear green orange yellow,orange

Would you be able to please share a small snippet on how that setup looks? I think that can theoretically work for me as long as I can get things to auto-select as well within that select_multiple which would be based on a previous select_multiple question. Thanks!

Hello everyone, I am currently working on a form where I am utilizing pulldata() and select_multiple in tandem to pre-populate information into a different select_multiple field. My main question is: Is it possible to have a select_multiple question dynamically select choices in a different select_multiple? I attached an example to this post where I'm using fruits and would like to have the colors automatically populate based on the selected fruits. Ideally I would like to utilize pulldata() as I can autogenerate the comma separated strings I need to automatically select the select_multiple choices from pulldata() but I would like to see what is possible with this setup. From my testing, I'm not able to reliably have all of the colors populate based on the selected fruits.
