I'm using ArcGIS 10.1, SDE is on SQL Server. I've deleted a FC from a FD. Since then I've added new FCs to the FD. When I go to enable versioning on the FD, I get an error message that says versioning failed because it can't find the deleted FC. Why does this happen?

I have a custom built Model in my toolbox and it will not open for editing. It does launch if you just select 'Open,' but I need to edit it. Any suggestions?

You need to use the snappour command / tool to snap your "random" pour point to a cell of highest accumulation within a certain radius. If you just input any "random" point its likely that you will get many that have a quite tiny "watershed". You will not see the small imperfections in your dem that are causing this. N Yep, this was the step I was missing... the Snap Pour Points tool snapped my random point to the closest high accumulation flow line, returned a raster which I was able to feed in to the Watershed tool to delineate the real watershed.

I took a DEM and made a Flow Direction waster from it, ran Sink, there were some, and ran Fill. Re-ran Flow Direction. What I am trying to do is find the Watershed for a random point (not necessarily a pour point). If I locate my random point and then run the Watershed tool, the tool gives me a very small area which does not seem to represent all the upstream cells that drain to it. I found this really helpful link and though the processing extents were my problem, but I made sure to set those properly and I am stillgetting the small area result. http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/78317-Watershed-tool-returns-only-immediate-catchment-not-entire-upstream-catchment-extent?highlight=watershed Any ideas or other ways to go about it?

I have several .xyz files I am trying to import to a feature class. When I use the ASCII 3D to Feature Class tool the output feature class is empty. The input file definitely has data in it.

I too have noticed at 10.1 ArcScene is having problems with TINs that used to display fine. Some will take a long time to load, other times just trying to change the symbology of the TIN will crash ArcScene.

Certainly possible it's a resource issue, however I reduced the strain on the card by turning off pretty much every other layer in the scene and it still does the disappear / reappear behavior.

While playing an animation, I am experiencing some 3D Features (buildings) disappearing and reappearing. I thought it might have to do with the view angle, but after adjusting that and re-recording the animation, I am still seeing the same behavior. Thoughts?
