Hello Everyone, I noticed this today when we started using ArcGIS Pro more frequently. Several users reported that not all of the features are in Publication. Below on the left is my OS-Auth connection to Publication using ArcCatalog. As you can see, lots of features in there. The one on the right is the same OS-Auth connection to Publication using ArcGIS Pro. As you can see, not so many features in there. The only difference between the features that do show up in Pro vs. ArcCatalog is the explicit object level permissions. I've got my Active Directory group for my GIS Users and I gave them select rights at the Database level for my Publication database. Some of these features I did happen to go to the feature level (object level) and grant explicit permission to my AD GIS Users group. Those features with explicit object level permissions show up in Pro. It's almost like ArcGIS Pro is not inheriting the database level permissions, and instead looking soley at the object level permissions for each feature class. This is ArcGIS Pro 2.0.0 ; backend is SQL Server 2012R2.

I have an Address point feature class and a Place Name point feature class. Each has an address locator built for it and participates in a composite address locator along with a street center line locator and several other locators. My question is, is it more efficient this way - to have a separate point feature class for the Place Name data - or should the Place Name data be just a table that is used as an alias table inside the initial Address point locator? It works as is, but I'm wondering about efficiency and best practices.

That's it! I thought I was signed it because I was working on a map, but when I went to the item page, for some reason I was no longer signed in so the Share option wasn't available. And if I signed in at the top right I was bounced back to my organization home page. I had to use the "Sign in to rate this item" to be able to access the Share button. Thanks for taking the time to trouble shoot this for me!

Kelly - Is there something special about adding the template to my Group I'm missing? I clicked Add Item, then The Item is an application and added the URL of the template, ie: http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=5766ba5eaddc4d48a41ae086b8a2f122 I tried Purpose Ready to Use and Configurable and left API as JavaScript both times. Then I shared the template item with my Template Group. After saving and sharing my map, I clicked Create a Web Application and the template appears in the list of available templates. But when I click Publish it says it is not configurable.

That's the same retired template I used without success. It's just not configurable for me. I even tried another template - the two panel (retired) at http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=5766ba5eaddc4d48a41ae086b8a2f122 with the same results. It is not configurable.

Kelly - Your response allows me to add the retired templates into my group and designate that group as a template group, but I still can't USE the template - it says it's not configurable. When I try to Publish it, it says This template is not configurable. Am I missing a step? I don't want to "host" the app on my server and access it as a template. I want to actually USE the template hosted on the AGO server like the non-retired ones.

When you Share an AGO map you have the option to Make a Web Application: Not all the templates that have been available in the past are now available directly like above. But I found a web page that lists all of them - including the retired ones at http://www.arcgis.com/home/search.html?q=templates&t=content&start=91 My question is, is it possible to download one of the retired ones from the web page, then upload it to my AGO subscription account and have it hosted on the Esri server instead of my own server since I don't have access to my own web server? For example the Two Panel template here: http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=5766ba5eaddc4d48a41ae086b8a2f122

Since I don't have access to our web server and am not a programmer (however simple it may be to programers ), I am restricted to the templates directly available in ArcGIS Online under Make an App. Is there a way to load the older/retired templates back into my subscription account for use without having to host them on our server?
