I am trying to find ST&R data for the state of California. At the moment, I am most concerned with the San Francisco area, but having the data for the entire state would be extremely helpful. As always, any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.

I have been working the the 'Find Route' tool over the last few weeks, and I was thinking that a few enhancements would be nice. Having worked with ArcLogistics extensively, it had a few features that would make 'Find Route' a lot easier to work with. Ability to change stop properties prior to import Stop Duration Ability to use point attributes as stop labels Rather than using street addresses, we have found that using an address point works much better. That being said, there are attributes in the address points that I would like to see displayed in the routing itself. ArcLogistics was able to select attributes to display Ability to select from a range of stop points and have 'Find Route' assign a route to as many as it can fit in a given time frame (i.e. 6 hours) At this point the workflow is as follows: Select stops manually by area Manually set stop duration for each stop individually Create Route Add/remove stops as necessary to achieve desired time of routing Save Route Spatially join stop point data to route stops Export joined data Match joined data based on common fields in order to add data that is unique to our office and the function of the route Print Route I understand that I am using the route function outside of it's intended use, but some of these features/functions could be simplified. Is the code for the 'Find Route' available in Github? As always, thank you in advance for any and all insight, suggestions and solutions! I have reached the point where I can create routes, but in the routing there are certain attributes that I would like displayed. In my case, having the situs address and turn by turn directions are what I was hoping for but I also need additional attribute data displayed. To establish my route, I am using a set of points for the stops and I would like to display some of the data within the points such as Name and APN. How do I do this? Also, is there a way to change multiple stop properties? I have tried highlighting all of my stops and then clicking on the properties but it will only change one record at a time. When I am doing 60+ stops per route it gets a bit tedious updating the stops individually. As always, thank you in advance for any insight, suggestions or solutions! Ok, after poking around I was able to find the time constraints in the Properties of the 'Stops' tab. I don't see a way to set the properties for ALL stops though, so I am forced to set Stop Duration and Time Window for each stop. Still muddling my way through this. I will say that it is far easier than using the old ArcLogistics so far.

I am working with the Find Route tool, and I don't see a way to restrict routes to a set time duration. In ArcLogistics, I could enter stops, and then restrict the routing to a set number of hours worked in a day. Can this be done in the Find Route tool? As always, thank you in advance for any suggestions and solutions! I am trying to figure out how to dock query results to one side of the viewer in ArcGIS Online. This was shown at the UC this year, and of course I can't remember how to make this happen....... Rebecca, Yes, I do have the Service Credits by Capacity chart at my desk and it is a bit vague. Based on the analysis that I have been running, it was difficult to tell what my credit usage was per query since the subject areas were fairly small, 1,000 features+/-. Yesterday I queried my entire map, and it used 178 credits! This was actually a good result, because we have 177,000+ ground level parcels within our county. As I said before, I was pretty sure that I knew the answer but it helps to have an additional voice with the same data. Hopefully that helps you both! I have a question regarding the credits used with 'Find Existing Locations.' Credit usage is 1 credit per 1,000 features, is that per 1,000 features returned, or 1,000 features queried? I believe that I already know the answer, but feedback from the community helps to solidify my position when limiting staff usage. As always, thank you in advance for any and all help! A quick follow up to the issue - I made it the the ArcGIS Online islands at the conference, and it was suggested that I use the 'Find Existing Locations' tool in the Analytics widget. My problem right now, is that it looks like my service has to have 'Feature Access' turned on in order for the query to work. Is this true? Is there a work-around to this? I do have one issue with the difference between the 'Find Existing Locations' tool and the 'Find Similar Locations' tool. One of the reasons that the 'Find Similar Locations' tool was so appealing, is that it allows you to select a feature that you can base your comparison on. This does not exist in the 'Find Existing Locations' tool. Thank you again! For those of you who are struggling with this same issue, these are the steps that I followed: Create a group Added user(s) to the group Shared maps/applications that I wanted the group to be able to see Under 'My Organization' go to 'EDIT SETTINGS' Under the 'Gallery' tab, click on the drop-down and choose the view from the group SAVE Again, major thanks to Edgewater!

Thank you very much for that information. I have created the group and added the applications that I want them to be able to see. I have searched through the ArcGIS online help, but I can't find anything on restricting access to the group only. Is this possible?

Is there a way to set a custom Gallery view? At the present we have three types of users and I would like to set the standard 'User' Gallery view so that it only shows Apps. I have looked at creating a custom user type, but none give me the ability to restrict what they can see in the Gallery. As always, thank you in advance for suggestions or insight in advance! Dan, your maps or applications will only provide the data that you put in to them. The maps do not automatically connect to CCTV or surveillance systems. Links like you are describing would have to be input by you (the author) of the map or application, and you have the ability to turn them on/off, set rights as to 'who' can access your maps or applications.
