I recently upgraded to ArcGIS 10.7 but I have been experiencing an odd issue ever since - this is the first time it has become really annoying/ problematic. I work for a water company, and I have a point layer with system valves in it that I am working on. When I open the attribute table it will claim to know 9679 Valves, but as soon as I sort it by the 'ValveID' field, the total number of records reduced to 5316. If I "Select all" on this layer, it then creates an improper fraction, saying that 9679 out of 5316 records have been selected. If I zoom to a Valve that has an ID number missing from those 5316 records, I can click on it and see the feature/ values the attribute table thinks doesn't exist. Has anyone else run into this and been able to correct it? Right now it is a pain in the butt because if you look in the red box of the document I've attached, I cannot uncover what the next ID number should be in the sequence.

Hi Joshua, I'm sorry - was emailing with James (I should have been more specific). I finally figured out how I had to approach the workflow for my needs, came in today, and now the signature fields aren't working (I can see them in Survey123, but can't sign them). I'm about to go through and re-create this whole program one more time and then just cross my fingers that all will be well. At least we've got the process down! xD

It was hanging during the publishing process ... the only difference being that I wasn't getting an infinitely spinning wheel or loading bar to tell me something was going wrong. I guess my definition of "hanging" is a little different. In that while Survey123 Connect was telling me it had gone through successfully, the update that was apparently successful seemed to be "hanging" somewhere between Survey123 Connect and Survey123 on the web, which I determined based on what my apps were not doing that they would have been working if that update had actually gone through successfully. I sent you a couple of emails yesterday but I think I've come as close to a complete solution that I'm going to get with this current version of Survey123. Next time I have one of these Apps seriously fail I will leave it unpublished, but in my Account, so the ESRI techs can pull it apart. I just have two short follow up questions based on my findings that I will send you via email momentarily (if you wouldn't mind answering those eventually/ when you get a chance).

David, I don't know how you are viewing your AGOL data, but we had ours set up in a Web Map with a filter by default. When I remove this filter, the records appeared (because we had set it up to hide all those locations where surveys were "complete"). At first I thought updates were not being sent too, but behind the scenes my App has started generating new points for surveys taken at specific points I had set up in a Collector map. I finally finished setting up a survey last week that was working in a similar fashion: I pull data into Survey123 from AGOL, a user in the field completes the survey questions, and then upon sending the survey back, the AGOL feature service would update and hold all of the data that the user submitted (in addition to driving the symbology within an AGOL/ Collector map).

Hi James - I was experiencing this behavior after running into a similar need to Jean-Yves Landry above. We had a domain with 6 operators and needed to add another handful so I republished my feature service to hold the new names in a domain, and then went back and made sure my new domain matched the "choices" list in Survey123 Connect. This was after trying to do the same by adding them to the feature service through the admin Service URL. At the time of the problem, there were no hosted views in the folder. The update from Survey123 Connect would show as "successful" but nothing would change when it was opened in the App (I tested this by changing the order of fields in the Survey and they did not update; I made sure to remove the Survey, re-download, and Refreshing the Inbox too). I couldn't wait to figure out what was going wrong with the original Survey so after a certain point I downloaded it and re-created everything - got it working after a few hours. As this user notes (and I identify with), "Several of these issues are recognized in other posts ... but it is only after I run into a problem and have tried to extensively troubleshoot, do I find an answer like "oh we know about that and it doesn't work yet". Definitely had a lot of run ins with different issues through-out this process that I will try to document at some point in the future. One thing I have had some hang-ups with for sure was in the process of creating the unique URL to pull data from Collector into Survey123 - I made a couple billing fields 'readonly' in Connect at one point, and this prevented the URL from properly pulling them into Survey123. When I attempted to update this attribute and republish it without, the problem persisted

Hi Brandon - Just thought I would throw my name on the list of people getting this error code in the past couple of days. To be fair, I just tried to use the Reporting function today for the first time in a couple weeks, but it is being used with a fresh AGOL/ Collector/ Survey123 data upload and it shouldn't be having any issues. I will say that I was just testing the print with a record that exists, but doesn't have much data filled in that would be relevant to the form I'm publishing (ie - I was expecting it to print out >mostly< blank). Could it perhaps have something to do with incomplete datasets / Null vaules?

I am also experiencing this behavior - is there a particular reason why there's been a reprise in the issue in the past couple days? Is there a solution yet? JTedrick-esristaff

I work for a water utility company and have just finished creating a Collector-Survey123 workflow to go between the office and field staff in order to better handle our Cross-Connection Inspection (Backflow Prevention) program. Due to the integration of these two ESRI Apps, our office will now be able to update appointments, dispatch field employees, receive updated information digitally, AND print it all out on the exact form my company is use to seeing. Thanks ESRI! One improvement I would really like to see in ArcGIS that I believe will make these types of workflows much more helpful for any non-GIS office staff (and honestly, make my life easier as the sole employee of the GIS/GPS department), would be to develop a way to let users generate an export based on filtered data. When training the office on how to use this workflow, I was asked how to do this multiple times. Right now I have them using the Microsoft Snipping Tool when they can fit the records returned on their screen - when there are too many returned records to do this, I have them download the whole table as necessary and trim the fat off in Excel. But that does seem like redundant energy, especially if you already have the table you want filtered out in front of you and you only need a handful of records out of hundreds. The time it takes to download the entire data-set and then edit it - I believe - could be cut down by a significant amount. I could see this capability being built into the current interface either directly in the Filter pop-up (in a new tab): Or, being built into the table so that once you go to view the Filtered Results, you can expand the hamburger (I do believe this is the technical term xD) in the top right-hand corner and find the Export tools there:

Just an update - as of today the documentation for 10.5 has not been updated to include information regarding WARNING 001922. I was Exporting a Tile Cache to a Tile Package for use in AGOL when this occured. I don't know when this topic was "reviewed" but I switched up to 10.5 in November.

I don't know if there is a way to do it, but you may want to alter BUG-000089119 to include the Android platform (unless there is a separate BUG set up for Android). As of today, this is still an ongoing issue.
