Morning Rushi, No luck so far, it seems. Even the license server doesn't show up under the "Infrastructure" tab, so it seems the problem is a bit more than just licensing numbers - it seems that counter is just borked. I've tried the following to no success - - restart the services (counter service and ArcGIS Monitor Server Service) - Cleaned views - Cleared caches and tried in 2 browsers (Chrome + Incognito, and Edge) - Re-tested the counter and made sure all was green and saved Starting to think maybe I should just delete the counter and re-add it again manually. It's an ongoing theme with Monitor in my experience 😞 Edit - I was right, the counter was playing up. Since deleted, re-added, set up the Service and restarted...now it works, huzzah!

Hi Rushi, Thanks for this - I've just downloaded and moved the files to the folder. I presume they'll refresh on the next check, or if I restart the service? Quite surprised to see they were missing from the Monitor application!

Hi, I installed the lsutil.exe for the License EXT in ArcGIS Monitor, and made sure another extension was installed as per this post -https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-monitor-questions/license-monitoring-extension-error/m-p/188456 However, even though I test and get a successful response (screenshot) and I have set it to run during working hours. That was yesterday, and I logged on today to see usage stats (Categories -> Usage and License), but I get none, just a blank screen. The same goes for the reports and it says 2Configure at least one License item to use this report" which I'm pretty sure I've done. If anyone has any insight, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks

Hi Michael, thanks for that. I got it working and it seems to only run intermittently. By that, I mean 1) The 403 error described by a user here - which I have followed the remedy to (grant admin use within Monitor) but it isn't always reliable - https://community.esri.com/thread/213797-gallery-extension-issues-with-authentication-403 2) It only seems able to export to the location in the default Config file. Any custom location it doesn't like

Hi, I was looking at how to automate monthly reports from the API in Monitor. On the face of it, it seems straightforwards enough with the REST URL, for example - https://<ServerName>/rest/api/monitor/availability?token=<token> then the POST body which would be (if I followed the API page on the Monitor Webpage) { "where": { "collectionId": ["<ID>"], "startTime": <StartMilliseconds>, "endTime": <EndMilliseconds>} } My question is - Has anyone set this up to be automated, and used it successfully? If so, did you need to configure the Token to be generated each time? And Are you able to shed any light on how you were able to set it up? Ideally I'd like to be able to have a script that could run at the end of each month, grab the stats for just the CPU and RAM, and export those into an Excel Report.

Solved it. Required a bit of tweaking with the URL. Thanks for nudging me in the right direction. Solved! Don't wish to elaborate too much but often times internal URLs are preferred by Monitor.

Hi Michael, Some progress! Just getting a 401 unauthorised error now. All the needed credentials are stored in Monitor and are checked to make sure they are configured correctly. Last hurdle, it seems. Thank you

Hi Matthew, Thanks for the reply. I've gone over the json layout and see no issues with it, curly Braces, speech marks and commas in the correct place. It works with 1 site which requires no login, but not another which is making me think about either the fault being the key - or maybe credentials held in monitor Administrator to try and login to the portal (which is where I'm trying to check the ssl certificate). That said, there are also some issues with trying to add a portal counter, so it could be a larger issue. I can login fine with them, the config is correct, so it's a bit of a mystery. Thank you Joe

Hi all, I'm trying to add the "key" entry for this for our site but no luck - I've tried emulating the layout in the default json. Does anyone have any pointers on how to add this? I've tried a few combinations. The site layout is https://gis.<site>/arcgis So I have tried the key as - "key": "gis" "key: "gis.<site>" as well as anything relating to the SSL certificate. Am I missing something glaringly obvious or do I need to add credentials within Monitor for it to work? As I have tried that as well. Thanks
