How do I create a map that is view only that is also available offline? I am at war with this collector app. I don't need to edit, just view the map and be able to identify with popups. I can't even see the map if I don't have at least 1 layer that is editable in the map. We have areas in our system where there is no cell service, therefore can not be connected. NEED OFFLINE MAPS available! Please help!!

I am having the same problem. Tried the solution " Manually create an 'ArcSDE_License' entry as New String Value. Modify and copy string from the ECP file." It did not work. Still getting the same error. I'm pretty sure all my permissions are set up ok in SQL Express. Any other suggestions ESRI?? Thanks, Ashlie Hildebrand

I have a feature class (Hydrants) and a related table (Hydrant Inspections). The hydrant inspections table has a lot of Yes/No fields. I am trying to set up radio buttons in ArcPad with related forms, which is going ok. I can get the radio buttons to work in the ArcPad form, however, when I go to the next feature to "complete an inspection" and I get to the Page with the realted form info, the radio buttons are preselected with whatever I filled out for the inspection I just came from. I can change them to reflect the current inspection, however I want them to be "unchecked" or "blank" when I open a "new" form. I can't figure out what code is necessary to do this. I was assuming that I could use something in the "onload" command of either the form or the page in which the radio buttons were present. I can't figure it out! I keep getting errors when I try to test it in ArcPad that says "vbscript runtime error object required 'name of radio button' text unavailable Please Help! Ashlie

First of all I am not a programmer. I am working on a fire hydrant inspection form that I would like to use with ArcPad. It contains a lot of Yes/No fields. When I do the quick form it automatically adds them in as drop down boxes. Which is fine, however it would be much faster to fill out the form if they were using Checkboxes or Radio Buttons. Do I have to write code for that or can I use a "wizard" to make that happen? Does anyone know the best way to track Yes/No fields in GIS? (Text field, ShortInteger) Do I need to use True/False (1,0) or Microsoft Access uses (Yes/No) which is Yes = -1 and No =0. Any insight on this would be great! Thanks, Ashlie
