I have a survey that has five parts consisting of a parent point layer and its four related items (three related tables and one related feature class). It is hosted in AGOL. We have been using this survey for about seven months and have hundreds of data points collected. I was recently asked to update the survey to add a few questions. I easily used Survey123 Connect to create a new survey based on the old one, made the required updates, and published. Now I can find no way to load the existing data into my new blank hosted features classes and tables while maintaining the relationship. If I append data into the feature classes, it fails with a 99999 error if I select 'preserve globalid' in the environments. If I don't select 'preserve globalid', then the relationship based on globalid is lost. Is there a trick to pulling old data into a new schema while maintaining the globalids? And if not, is there a way to force the survey123 globalid fields to be GUID instead of globalid, since that is a little more flexible? Thanks!

Hi Nathaniel, Usually when I want to select data in AGOL, I create a webmap with the data, and then create a web app in web appbuilder that points at that map. In web apps, you can add the select widget and use it to select data on the map and then view it in the attribute table. Here is more info on the select widget: Select widget—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS | Documentation. You can also set the attribute table widget to allow export and then export the selected data to a csv file, more details here: Attribute Table widget—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS | Documentation. I hope that helps, Helen

Now that the Story Map Builder has auto save, if something iis accidentally deleted, there is no way to undo that action. Adding an undo option would help reduce frustration and lost work.story maps builder next gen story map story maps beta

Thanks Owen, As soon as I did it I figured that was the case. I think it would be great if there was an undo, since folks are bound to make mistakes. I was so sure I was deleting the new blank map... oh well.

I accidentally deleted a map with attached sidecar text in the new story map builder. It auto saved and I can't find any undo option. Is there a solution to this?

I have been running into similar problems. My users regularly lock their devices. I am now looking into ESRI Quick Capture. It looks like it should be possible to collect preset line types in the background (it will work in the background, even with the screen locked). While that is running, you should be able to use Collector as usual to collect the more involved, project specific data. I have only just heard about ESRI Quick Capture, so I haven't tested it out yet. I would love to hear if anyone else has tried it. https://community.esri.com/community/esri-labs/blog/2018/07/13/introducing-quickcapture-for-arcgis Home · Esri/QuickCapture Wiki · GitHub quickcapture tracking

Have you tried Location Tracking? It might work for your case. Track where collectors go—Collector for ArcGIS (Classic) | ArcGIS It tracks movement as a series of points, so to get a polyline you would need to run a point to line tool: Points To Line—Data Management toolbox | ArcGIS Desktop If you don't mind waiting, it looks like ESRI is rolling out the perfect solution in the second quarter of 2019: Location Tracking Debuted at Esri User Conference (July 2018) location tracking template, arcgis online location tracking, #tracking and traceability

I think it would be incredibly helpful to be able to permanently reorder fields in a table. Right now, I use the X-Ray add-in for ArcCatalog to reorder fields. It has problems, such as dropping subtypes, but is currently the easiest method I have come across. The add-in includes a reororder fields tool.
