Hi there, Is BUG-000157970 addressed in this patch? I cannot see it referenced in the release notes but on the technical support page it says it is fixed in version 3.1.2. Cheers Hayley

Thanks for your quick response! For the records and other potential viewers, I have now raised this as an idea here. Hopefully this gets fixed soon so we can start utilising project templates at my organisation 😊

I would like ArcGIS Pro to allow the "Create new folder for this project" box to be unchecked when creating a new project from a custom project template. Currently, the "Create a new folder for this project" box is checked and greyed out when creating a new project from a custom template. This is a problem for us as our organisational standards have this unticked by default, meaning that if we implement project templates, any projects using these will end up with a different folder structure. Screenshot from training video showing the box greyed out and therefore it is unable to be unchecked. Having this box unchecked is the default setting for our organisation This idea was originally raised as a comment on this training video.

Hi Jordan, We are excited to use project templates within our organisation as we think they will save a ton of time! At the moment, there are a few nuisances in the process which is stopping us from implementing them. I was wondering why the 'Create a new folder for this project' tick box is greyed out once you go to use the new template? This is a problem for us as our organisational standards have this unticked by default, meaning that if we implement project templates, any projects using these will end up with a different folder structure.

Have a selection option to keep user logged in to ArcGIS Online/Portal so that they don't have to sign in on each time opening AutoCAD.

ArcGIS Online Assistant might be what you are looking for? Either using their copy content feature or viewing/copying the JSON content if it's just the formatting/text etc that you are after. I often use this to copy a story map and then edit the JSON to update map queries, text values or map extents.

Just letting you know there is a typo in your script on Line 15, this causes it to fail instantly. Also, I kept getting an error on Line 22, float division by zero (tan = - dy/dx). I didn't have time to look into it so I used the script posted by Darren in the end. It may be specific to my input, I'm not sure.

I know right. Now that you have a working image service in ArcOnline, I've found that you should be able to use this as your tiling scheme template going forward in ArcPro.

Hi Sean, I managed to get mine sorted. I had set my tiling scheme to 'use existing cached map/image service' and selected the ESRI 'NZ Dark Canvas' basemap that is available in ArcOnline (in order to control and set my projection as NZTM). As it turns out, this tiling service uses a JPEG tile format which I didn't notice until looking at my published image service. I managed to find an existing tile scheme which had both the projection I wanted and used a PNG tile format. This sorted it for me and my no data values remained transparent once loaded in ArcOnline. When publishing from ArcMap you have the ability to select the tile format you want but I couldn't seem to find this same setting when publishing a tile service from ArcPro. If you have access to ArcMap, you could try and publish from here instead? - even just to see if that works. Not sure if the solution will also work for you or if your problem is different but hopefully this may help someone.
