After some further searching, I found this applet that allows you to add GPS information to the attribute table. It has the download and install instructions for it. Summary This Applet automatically adds GPS information to the attribute table when a feature is created or modified, if the table contains specific fields. http://arcscripts.esri.com/details.asp?dbid=16785 Regards

If I'm understanding your question correctly, I don't think you actually have to populate a column with the VDOP, HDOP and EPE when taking a point. Instead, I believe it is already created and stored in an attribute table of the tracklog. An article on esri's resource center says; "For each point in the tracklog shapefile, ArcPad captures an x, y, and z coordinate with a user-specified m value. ArcPad also captures a variety of information received from the GPS receiver and stores this information in the attributes associated with the point. These attributes can be viewed by using the Add Layer tool to add the tracklog shapefile to an ArcPad map and then by using the Identify tool to display the selected point??s attributes." If you haven't already seen this article, it may give you some useful information. http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcpad/10.0/help/index.html#/The_GPS_Tracklog/00s100000100000000/ Hopes this helps! So, I tried to change the mouse setting in ArcPad 10 myself and couldn't find a way to do it. I even tired to search the web to see if there was a special way to do it and came up empty. Unfortunately, I think this may be a limitation for ArcPad 10 as of now. One thing I might suggest is that if you utilize ArcPad frequently, which I do not, then post an idea to change or add the ability to change the mouse settings for ArcPad on esri's idea page. http://ideas.arcgis.com/ Cheers.

I should have clarified which clip to use....i was referring to the clip in the raster toolset as Eric mentioned, though if all you need is to figure out the percent of land use by the number of pixels, the zonal histogram may work just fine.

Hey guys, I'm a recent grad, so relatively knew to using Arc 10...and GIS for that matter, and I currently have lots of time on my hands. I frequent the forums and came across this post and did some quick web searching. I found some stuff and thought I would throw out some ideas for you to try, if you haven't tried them already, since no one had really responded. The first thing I came across is that it may be a space availability issue, so you might try setting the temp and TMP variable in the Environments variable to a disk which has adequate space. Or another thing I found was to try and copy your files to another drive/folder and seeing if you still get the error. If you know for a fact that it is not the space issue, the other thing I came across was to try using the clip tool and set the Output Extent as the mask shape file, as well as checking to Use Input Feature for Clipping Geometry. So I'm not exactly sure about each of your data sets and what your trying to do, but hope my 2 cents can help in some way.
