I would be nice if ArcGIS Pro could deal with Alt Codes just like ArcMap does (text edit in layout mode). We can copy paste special characters but not type it directly with Atl Codes. Ex.: Atl+151 = ù Alt + 26 = → Alt + 27 = ← I have a code list next to me and use it all the times as I am dealing a lot with special characters and multiple languages with accents. It would definitely be a plus in ArcGIS Pro.

While fixing errors in Topology Error Inspector, it would be nice if we could : 1 - Create new features by having the option to chose which subtype the new feature will have instead of default. 2 - Merge and see on top of OID what is the subtype of the feature that will merged to.

In ArcGIS Online, web map configuration, we can enable search by layers within specific fields. Very useful although it is only available for String and Integer fields, it does not include the ObjectID field type. Would it be possible to allow for search in other field types? ObjectID, GlobalID, Dates, etc. In a particular case of mine, I need to locate rapidly, for over-the-phone-point-validation, newly added features using ObjectID (features added through Survey123 embedded in a public StoryMap). So the data does not exist before the public contributes. Therefore, I cannot work my data in advance in ArcGIS Pro using Calculate Field. Alternatively, I could publish from ArcGIS Pro a reference registered feature layer and use Attribute Rule Calculation to populate a custom string field from ObjectID, but it defies the purpose of having hosted feature layers in AGOL in the first place. Another alternative would be to use a widget in a web app. Yet again, it defies the purpose of quick and easy web map search in the search tool, specially for non GIS users. Simply put, please enable other field types for search by layer.

Hello, it would be cool to have an ArcGIS tool capable to convert vertical values for different datums. This tool should be able to convert Rasters & Feature Classes. Let's say you have a lot of LiDAR Rasters which have vertical value based on CGVD1928 Datum. Now Canada invites all to use the new CGVD2013 Datum. Old data could be processed with this tool in order to CONVENIENTLY convert entire data inventory to the new Vertical Datum with ease. This tool would obviously integrate gravimetric geoid and all relevant considerations. GC.ca already offers online tools (http://webapp.geod.nrcan.gc.ca/geod/tools-outils/gpsh.php?locale=fr) but it implies a lot of data manipulation, exportation, format consideration and possibly format extension limitations. I assume it would be quite relatively easy to develop such a tool and integrate it in a future update. Thanks to all Esri developers !

Hello, I have a user requesting the ability to print filtered attribute tables when using web apps from an iPad. For the fun of giving you a real life case example : Snow Operation foreman could print a list of all Fire Hydrants from a sector that still need to be cleaned out of snow and rapidly give that list to an employee going out working his shift. As of Portal 10.6, this capacity is not yet possible with the actual Attribute Table widget. I know we can configure the Attribute Table Widget to allow exportation in .CSV but it is a sketchy work around at best. .CSV exportation does not export domain descriptions and can’t be used directly from an iPad (iOS limitation) to send directly to a printer. Users need to connect to a desktop to print the .CSV, not convenient in the field. We need to be able to print filtered attribute table directly from iPads.

Thank You Kory, To answer your question : "But my question would be why do you need to re-design the subtypes for a subtype group layer?" Well, I know there are other ways to set the domain and default values for subtypes but I just thought it would be convenient if the right-click layer from a Subtype-Group > Design > Subtype option would not be grayed out. I am used to access the subtype options this way and now it is grayed out. From there, we could set domains options and default values for this one and specific Subtype alone. Not necessarily Add/Remove subtypes but why not add those options as well if the subtype groups would be dynamic? More functionalities, more convenient and awesome software! In addition I would suggest to add options not only to modify domain and default values but also Attribute Rules. By the way, how can you have in your print screen options for Attribute Rules and Contingent Values and me not at 2.2.4!? You are working with a pre-release version! heeh So Cool! I would use it now! Thank for your feed back!

In ArcGIS Pro (2.2.3), when a Preset Layer is added as a Subtype Group Layer, we can't change the field properties for all subtype layers (or a sub selection), all at once. We can only change Design Field properties one subtype layer at a time. We should have an option like "Change field properties for selected subtype Layers". At the end, they share all the same schema, this should be doable.

In design field properties, domains only show if they have been assigned on those field before subtype functionality is enabled on a Feature Class. After subtype is set on a field, they don't show. I suspect that it is because domain could vary from subtype to subtype, therefore design field properties present domain information as blank value, which is misguiding. I would recommend enhancements for design field properties as follow : A - If all subtypes have the same domain assigned to a field then show the “Domain Name” B - If various domains are assigned to the field depending on subtype used, then show “Various Domains” C - Same as A & B for Default Values In addition, I would recommend a columns in the design field properties to show if Attribute Rules is/are set/enable/disabled on a field. It would be rather convenient to access a functionality from design field properties where one could access the Attribute Rule definition(s), modify the Attribute Rule and set the Attribute Rule Order.

Same here but I found a work around. When generating your Attachment Match Table, try not to check the "Store Relative Path" box. Try Again. Make sure you verify your results at the proper Version Level.

When we use a High Precision GPS receiver with Collector for ArcGIS, the location indicator with the blue circle respects the High Precision accuracy with a corresponding diameter. Now, when it comes to Explorer for ArcGIS, the location indicator with the blue circle does not respect the High Precision accuracy with a corresponding diameter. Please allow Explorer to indicate location as accurately as with Collector when using with a High Precision GPS.

It would be nice if Esri would develop a Vocal web base Artificial Intelligence Assistant capable of answering for us most questions we have about their product functionalities. They could have this AI Assistant learn all product documentations, all support cases, all bugs, etc. Then a user would only ask a question and the Assistant would reply either directly with an answer or ask a question back to the user for more details. This AI Assistant should be able to answer questions such as : "Assistant, what is the difference between a Web Feature Layer and a Map Image?" "Assistant, how can I configure Portal so users can log in with their organization windows credential." It would save a lot on Customer Support as their users could often get answers themselves through the AI Assistant. It would allow their users to gain the equivalent of a training only with a conversation with the Assistant. It would allow unknowledgeable users to gain rapidly experience, therefore democratizing even more their product. Possible future application to this AI Assistant would be to allow it Step-by-Step GeoProcessing interaction with Desktop applications. Ex.: "Assistant, select all features from xLayer which are within a distance of 100m from this xFlooding polygon. From the selected features, change xField attributes to "At Risk of Climate Change". Wouldn't it be nice?
