Ugh. I knew I should have looked at this forum before upgrading.

That worked. It's too bad that step doesn't appear in the documentation.

My model will be run on successive days and I want a month and date to be appended to the end. I'm using a parameter In my frustration to get this to work, I created a model variable, (tried string, variant and 'any value' for the data type and made each a parameter. My problem is that inline variable substitution comes out as the literal input. For example "CombinedData_%StrDa%" StrDa is the name of the variable. Instead of substituting %StrDa% for its value, CombinedData_%StrDa%" is the name of the shapefile. I even tried %n% and it comes out as CombinedData_%n% I've browsed and searched for the answer, but I haven't found anything. I'm running ArcGIS Pro 2.2.1

I was wrong about the most recent driver version. I'm was using 23.21.13.9158, but 23.21.13.9189 is out now. I just installed it and verified that it does not make a difference. I'm not sure this matters, but it may: My monitors go in this order 2, 3, 4, 1. 3,4,1 are the 24" screens and 2 is a 32" TV. On 4 and 1, I can take another window (acrobat for example), position it over an undocked window (Catalog, Geoprocessing, doesn't matter) and the window is "overprinted". It stays that way when I move it from 4 to 1, but if I move it to 3 or 2, it refreshes itself. I also can't generate the problem in 3 or 2. When the window is maximized in 4 or 1 then minimized, the window is basically just a rectangle. When I mouseover something the window, it appears and then disappears. Mousing over doesn't make the objects under the pointer reappear permanently. The max/min error doesn't appear at all in monitor 3, but does in 2. I hope this makes sense! *edited to correct monitor numbers.

Yes, same effects no matter what monitor. The behavior persists even when undocked over the ArcGIS window as well, until it's docked. Maximizing the window is the only way to avoid the behavior.

Control F would be much better and simpler to use. I have used the locate option to find a feature in a layer, but if you work with a great many layers, it's a PITA to use the "Configure Layer for Locate" each time. Now we're up to 2.1.2. Can you provide a better estimate when Control F to search an attribute table will be added?

Actually 200% isn't impossible, according to the help files, but it isn't what I meant to say. I put 100% in the Parallel Processing Factor field. Doing the same task in ArcGIS Pro takes less time, because I think it uses parallel processing better.

I am in a similar boat. Running: 32 GB of RAM and a 6 core Intel Xeon ES-1650 obtained last month. AcGIS Pro 2.01 Why hasn't ESRI made the core geoprocessing tools multi-processor friendly when they created ArcGIS Pro? I ran an intersect process last night on the FEMA Flood GDB. It took 3 hours to intersect 600 points on the flood zone layer. Everything is running locally on a SSD. I set the parallel processing factor to 200% I started this process again and: The resource monitor and the odd numbered cores were parked, while the even numbered cores had only 10% usage. The overall CPU usage is only 9-10% still! The odd numbered cores are parked! Window is supposed to take cores out of park when they are needed to process something. I would appreciate any help. I have read all the pertinent help docs that I could find. Thanks!
