Hi Marcel, I opened Arctic DEM: Hillshade Multidirectional from The Living Atlas into a new project in Pro. It looks like:

Hello Marcel, Per " In arcmap, the s57 viewer give us the ability to select, inside the 000, the layer we want (depth, line contour etc.) and apply symbology, query or calculations, like letting depth show in feet." This <full> capability is in the development cycle. Some is already present per below: I am using Pro 3.2.0 Advanced without the Maritime extension. Thus the drag-and-drop should work for you as well as it does for me, and the "ENC Layer" tab will look like this, with the S-52 Symbology and layers per the right-hand side after I clicked Symbology: I hope this is helpful to you. Cheers, Guy

Hi Marcel, I have successfully 'drag-and-dropped' the ENC cell (US4AK3OV at U.S. Office of Coast Survey (noaa.gov)) for the portion of Southern Alaska Peninsula that I surveyed back in 2005-6, seen here in this screen grab. Note that I have also brought in the bathymetry from that survey, and have made the chart somewhat transparent. The SEAARE name "Cushing Bay" in the west-facing bight on the north end of Mitrofania Island was selected (clicked) to get the following popup: So if this is not working for you, we may need to see what ENC file you are using and determine if it has some characteristic that is not recognized by the software. Thanks for the feedback! Guy

I finally found the blog post I was looking to clarify the need to move away from the traditional 'hydrographic' color scheme where Red is shallow. Red … Green … What? (esri.com)

By changing the color hue, brightness, and contrast (try 212 on Hue, B=112, C=140) and Inverting that color scheme so shadows are white, I think you'll see features pop. This is how I used to do side scan sonar reviews.

Hello, You may want to provide your preferences to the NCEI organization that provides the RESTful tiled services, but I think they made that change for Section 508 (Accessibility) compliance, which is a legal mandate. For a slightly different bathymetry service, you might use the new BlueTopo from Coast Survey. They are providing it through nowCoast. nowCOAST (noaa.gov)

Accessibility issues suggest the need to change from classic 'rainbow' coloring, particularly for color-blindness. The updated colors represent western Long Island Sound, for example, without relying upon the traditional color scheme. NCEI Bathymetric Attributed Grid (BAG) Mosaic - Overview (arcgis.com) The newer scheme also provides a great bathymetric basemap for display of other content for users' attention. If you want to focus attention on the bathy layer itself, you might look at changing some of the display parameters (screen grab from ArcGIS On Line Map Viewer):

Hi @MarcelSt-Germain I have ArcGIS Pro 3.1.1 installed, no Maritime extension. I just drag-and-dropped US5OR37M.000 that I downloaded from NOAA U.S. Office of Coast Survey (noaa.gov) ENC site as part of the zipped current ENC for USCG 13th District. I then right clicked the file and 'zoom to layer' to get this view in my Map window as well as the ribbon change to add "ENC" functions. When I click on the "Symbology" in that ribbon, I get a change on the right-hand side per below, and changing the Transparency in the top-middle gives me changes in the Map window, too.

Hello Amilynn, and thank you for working with our software to improve it in this way. The support you received from Ismael is close to what I would have suggested, perhaps augmented by a workflow that used a spreadsheet to transfer the published Lat/Long to a feature service, and then transfer the resultant service area to mobile devices for field safety. You might also look at Pro 3.1 "Append" improvements in this thread: Append to/Update existing features GP tool - Page 2 - Esri Community I hope to see you at UC 2023! Guy

Hi Bob, I have to agree with Bo on this subject, for example, this seems like a similar request: Cut/extract multiple feature classes at once - Esri Community or maybe extract or scrap the data from an arc online Featu... - Esri Community is a recent thread that has similar goals? Let us know here if this works for you, or if you get another path to success. Guy
