I am trying to establish a threshold (2 values) on a raster image. Values are between 1000 and 4000. How can I write python syntax to do that. Here is an example of what I tried... inraster_threshold = inraster >=1000 and <=4000 inraster_threshold = inraster >=1000<=4000 both did come out with syntax errors and I can't find the "and" way of including the second value for my threshold

Hi everyone, I am new to ArcGIS and I need to perform a spectral index on dataset of Landsat images. This index performs better when done in a mask. The shapefile I want to use as a mask is a binary raster polygon, (0 and 1) where I want to perform the index on the polygons with the "1" value. Is that mask simply specified in the environments prior to execute the index, or is more complicated? thanks!

Hi everyone, I am trying to convert my raster (.tif) into simple polygon feature classes. I am fairly new to Python and this is the script I though of (which returns no error, but simply no results come from it): import os
import arcpy
from arcpy.sa import *
from arcpy import env
arcpy.CheckOutExtension("spatial")
env.overwriteOutput=True
rootfolder="r'Z:\bda_7unzip\bda\LANDSAT 5\63_12'"
for root, dirs, files in os.walk(rootfolder):
for d in dirs:
NDSI = Raster(rootfolder+os.sep+d+os.sep+d+"_NDSI_tresh0.33.tif")
arcpy.RasterToPolygon_conversion("NDSI",'rootfolder+os.sep+d+os.sep+d+"_NDSI_tresh0.33"',"SIMPLIFY","Value") any thought on how I could modify this or new scripting ideas?
