It would be helpful if you posted the contents of the expression variable and any errors that come up when attempting to run the tool. The tool is expecting a Value Table which is essentially an array of arrays. If you enclosed your value table in quotes it isn't getting the proper input. I am also wondering what the [0] at the end of each line is for? I'm thinking this would work: arcpy.management.CalculateFields(in_table=fc, expression_type="PYTHON3", fields=[["Detached", "!Detached!*!Ratio!", ""], ["Total", "!Total!*!Ratio!", ""]])[0]
expression = [["Detached", "!Detached!*!Ratio!", ""], ["Total", "!Total!*!Ratio!", ""]]
arcpy.management.CalculateFields(in_table=fc, expression_type="PYTHON3", fields=expression)[0]

I record my screen a lot and don't need people seeing this info, so it would be nice to have an option to not display this information. I can go to the backstage to switch active portals.

Thanks @wayfaringrob this fixed my issue. I'm going to post video about it and give you a shoutout. Thanks for being a contributor. I had deleted the heading on categories I already had in the layer, went to add a new value and couldn't group the new value with an existing value until I put the heading back in the existing symbol classes.

@chadhickman Try changing the stretch type for the raster layer to none. Select the raster in the contents pain and if you're using 3.0x it's on the Raster Layer tab. If you're using 2.9x, it's on the appearance tab. The Stretch Type setting is in the Rendering group. Hope that fixes it! Jeff GIS Chops on YouTube

I would take advantage of creating a "locate provider" on the Locate tab instead of using the Layer Search tab. It sticks with the project and you can specify the fields that the provider will search and whether it should contain the search text or match exactly. I did a video about the locate tool that describes setting up a locate provider here - https://youtu.be/DGBtMEtp-Z0

This is what my selection group on the Edit tab looks like: But I think because I did it when I first started using Pro with an older version my customization of the selection group may be grandfathered into whatever Pro's equivalent of the normal.mxt file is. By the way @KoryKramer , what is that file and where is it located for Pro? But like I said before, I rarely use it. I have become accustomed to using the tool on the bottom because I don't have to switch tabs to get to it.

@MDuncan I must have added it before they started forcing us to create new groups. I added it when I first started using Pro and before I had learned about the little selected features button along the bottom. I just tried adding another tool to the Selection group but was shown the same error you experienced. I have found it's easier to use the button on the bottom since it is visible at all times. I have also found that if I have multiple features selected in multiple layers, but I only want to zoom to the selected features in one layer - the Attributes pane is the fastest. I right click on the layer "group" and choose "Zoom To". If I right click the layer in the contents pane I have to go to the Selection group, then the "Zoom to Selection". I always have the Attributes pane open on my second monitor so I can always see it.

Or if this isn't possible, allow for exporting a field mapping once I have them set up, then load it again later. I find myself constantly re-mapping my fields in append tools in my models because something happens to how the fields are named or referenced by Pro or ArcMap.

Hey Rob! I think the OP is wanting a search box to enter a field name to search by instead of using a drop down and scrolling through a long list of field names. You should submit an idea that the Append tool (and others) adhere to the Field Mapping set up in the Editor Settings dialog, I would vote that up right nice. My problem is my target table usually has field names like sde.dbo.NAME and the source table has just NAME so they don't automatically match, but oh how I wish they would. Jeff GIS Chops
