I have thousands of sliver polygons outside of my study area. What is the best way to eliminate them automatically? Those polygon islands are the slivers Note: I can´t select by attributes (small areas) because then it would eliminate other polygons inside the study area.

I have a fishnet polygon feature class and a land cover raster. Both cover a large area. I seek to: a) calculate the area of each land cover category inside of each Grid from the fishnet b) Overlay those two datasets in order to have just 1 dataset. What´s the best option to have just a layer showing the Land cover type inside of each Grid? c) Clip the Grid for just work with the areas of the grid that match the land cover map. Yet I do not want an exact clipped grid but instead that the fishnet grid from the raster boundaries would not get clipped, thus, maintaining the full grid configuration in overlaid areas. What is the best approach to reach the goals for a), b) and c). Additionally, is it possible to do it without converting the raster to polygon or polygon to raster?

Thanks Xander. I have talked with my colleagues and in the near time would be complicated to share the data as we have limited time to prepare it (we work with large datasets). Anyway, if I have a chance, I will certainly do it. I want to return to this point later as it is important to find a solution. Thanks again

The image itself no but I have done those procedures before. I believe this may happen due to the irregular geometries of the polygons. I am not sure if there is any way to tackle this issue. I have done the conversion to raster in equally area of the minimum polygon area but still no resolution. Thanks

Thanks, I did all of that before posting the question actually. Yet, any thoughts?

I produced a raster map representing estimates of the number inhabitants in pixels of 100x100 meter and I want to calculate the total of inhabitants per administrative units that are represented by polygons such as those shown in the picture. After converting those polygons into a raster layer (with a resolution of 100 meter) I'm using Zonal Statistic as Table in ArcGIS to calculate the number of inhabitants per administrative unit. The resultant table has fewer lines than the number of administrative units represented in the raster layer. Therefore I'm losing information for administrative units having an area below 28500 square meters or for administrative units with an irregular geometry such as those highlighted in the picture. The problem persists when I convert the administrative units into a raster layer with a resolution of 25 meter.

Thanks for suggestion. I already had the preferences set as above. Not really. I am not able too see it in the Arctoolbox tree all the time, and that is the issue. However it is possible to find the tool, if I type the name in the Find tools bar (geoprocessing window). Nonetheless, I still seek to find how to add new toolboxes and make them visible on the tree list, near to all the other default toolboxes.

Similar to this thread - how to make a arctoolbox permanent in toolbox list - I am seeking to do the same in ArcGis Pro. Any thoughts?
