@CESPEDESLUISITD -- Where do you set the zoom-in factor? We're running into a similar issue at my organization with our Hydrant Inspections project. It used to be that when you switched between apps, Collector would place a pin at the location of a feature. Now, in my migrated Workforce project with Field Maps, it's trying to collect at the feature's location. This isn't ideal because we want to collect an inspection record -- not a completely new hydrant. It also seems to default to Field Maps last zoom scale which could be as far as out as the entire city. By the time you zoom in, users have lost the hydrant they are trying to put an inspection record on.

@JayCary My organization also uses this functionality in ArcMap. We use it to bring through unique IDs for our utility assets. We would also like to see this functionality migrated to ArcGIS Pro. Thanks.

Is there an ArcGIS Ideas page or enhancement in the works for this? I'd like to create a dashboard using a database view which cannot be published as a feature service.

I'm really happy I found this thread because I was running into this exact same issue. That being said, this work around isn't 100% because it doesn't allow you to rematch from within a selection. For example, I'd like to be able to select unmatched addresses and review view/navigate/sort them from within a table while re-matching as you can do in ArcMap. Using this workflow, I have to remove the selection to then individually select the record I want to match or else I have to use the arrows to navigate through my selected records in the rematch pane. Shana Britt, do you know if there is an Ideas page for this?

I'm running into this issue on my Dell Latitude 5290 2-in-1 on the Download CSV button in the Screening Widget as well as on the Insert Image button in the Splash Screen widget. I'm experiencing it in all browsers and in both AGOL and our portal environment (which is at 10.7.1). I contacted Esri and they created a second BUG for the Download CSV button not working in the Screening Widget (BUG-000131723).

I agree that the tabular functionality of batch tools in ArcMap was fantastic -- particularly the fill functionality. In my case, I'm trying to add multiple fields to a feature class, normally a pretty simile task. In Pro, it looks like they added a new tool call Add Fields (plural) which is what you are supposed to use to add multiple fields to a feature class. It is a huge pain. Most the fields I am adding are the same length and use the same domain, but for each field, I have to manually enter the length and the domain whereas in the old batch functionality of ArcMap, I would have just been able to use fill. I initially tried using batch on the Add Field tool before I noticed the new Add Fields tool. I was able to add fields of multiple names, but the batch tool only accepted one set of parameters, so I ended up with differently named fields that all had the same alias, field type, domain, etc. I don't even see why that's an option. It seems like batch Add Field did not support the same functionality it did in ArcMap, so they created Add Fields as an ulterior option, but it is still insufficient compared to the functionality offered in ArcMap. It seems like Esri shifted the focus of batch tools towards doing the same thing or nearly the same thing on multiple input datasets -- but what about when you want to execute the same tool on the same dataset multiple times with different parameters? Furthermore, even with that functionality in place, as we have in the Add Fields tool, we don't have the same auto-fill functionality that made batch tools in ArcMap so easy. Below is the picture of the issue. Another particularly annoying feature of the Add Fields tool is that you can't add multiple blank fields -- you can only do one at a time, so you have to scroll to the top time every time you need to add a new field to hit the plus button and then scroll back down to fill in the field information. Rinse and repeat. Ten times. You can click the plus button multiple times to add multiple fields, but then it just deletes the extras once you start entering the parameters of the first blank field. You were definitely able to add multiple rows to the batch tool table in ArcMap, and it was less difficult in the first place because all the information for your batch tool runs was laid out right in front of you in the batch tool table.

Hi Kara, We are also just starting down this road at my organization. We are looking at CDI and DocuNav GeoDoc for potentially integrating our GIS with Laserfische. Which solution did you end up going with? Can you provide any input on the process is going? Thanks!

When setting up the filter widget on a layer hosted in my organization's spatiotemporal big data store, I noticed that the drop down you typically get when you set it to ask for the user to enter a unique value. Typically, this setting will generate a list of unique values that exist in in the field you are trying to filter, but for a STBDS layer, it just does nothing or spins a loading circle. I submitted a support case, and they said that it does not work because aggregated queries are not currently supported for the SBDS.

My organization just joined the Waze Connected Citizen Program, and we are trying to make an app for our users to select a start/end time and see all the alerts that happened during this time. The current time-slider widget is not intuitive enough for our users to use. It is really tiny, and the font is hard to read. It is unclear when you drag the slider that you could be just making the skip interval even larger. This widget would be great with a side panel user interface where users can use a drop down field to specify start and end times, field to specify their desired time interval, and then playback tools such as start and pause. With Esri pushing GeoEvent, real-time data, and IOT as much as they are, they should seriously consider rolling out an improved time slider widget for Web AppBuilder.

As well as not being consistent with the other fonts in the app, the current font is way too tiny and difficult to read. It would be great if the font could be made larger.

Very much need this. We have our portal set up so that our users do not need to use their @domain, and I can't tell you how many people I can see are struggling to get into our portal when I look at the portal logs. It would be great if we could add our organizational logo and some text explaining to users how they should format their username in order to log on.

Hi Robert, Thanks for reviewing my input and fixing the bug in your latest widget update so quickly. I implemented the latest widget update, and it definitely works. However, I am finding that although the pop-up panel will not push the feature off-screen, it will still push the feature so that it is obscured by whatever widget is open in the header controller. Is there anything that can be done so that the select feature doesn't get pushed behind the open header controller widget? Here is a picture of the Live Preview Site where selected a feature and then I minimized the layer list to demonstrate how the selected feature is obscured by the layer list if it is not minimized.

Hi Robert, This widget is awesome, and my organization has been using it for some time. One thing that we run into, though, is that if you click a feature that is very close to the edge of your screen on the right, the feature will get pushed out of the map view when you click on it and the popup comes up. I've included pictures below using the Live Preview Site to demonstrate the issue. Is it possible for the web map view to center on the feature you click rather than push it to the side and possibly out of the map view? Clicked on the Emergency Siren at Memorial Auditorium Parking lot circled in red below: After clicking on feature, the side panel pop-up shifts the map view so the feature is no long within the view:
