Has anyone else experienced this issue with the Connect Origins to Destinations tool? We have a layer with 500 features representing customers, and a layer representing 50 stores. Each customer feature has a "PickupStore" field, and each store has a "Name" field. The parameters are set to the most basic, with Line Distance as the measure, Straight Line as the route shape, and "Include Route Layers" is unchecked. The tool runs and finishes, and throws the error "Some origins were not connected to their paired destinations. Check the Status field in output unassigned origins and unassigned destinations layers for more information." One problem is that we can't check the status field in the output, because the output is never created. ESRI Technical Support cannot provide a list of circumstances that produce this error message. Help is much appreciated, thank you

@DougLee Thanks for reaching out - Is this functionality recorded in the documentation? This is added functionality that didn't exist in Collector, right?

When streaming line features in Field Maps, the screen is required to be on. Our business users often find that they need both hands free when navigating uneven terrain, such as following a line feature through snowpack or dense forest. The ability to lock the screen to prevent input when line streaming would prevent our users from losing data due to accidental touches from branches, raindrops and clothing. Avenza Maps has developed this feature, and users of that app within our business report that the feature is a boost to productivity. Furthermore, it would allow them to store the device in a pocket or back while streaming - an important safety improvement when working over rough ground.

Hi Colin - I'm looking at this issue again now. I find that when a default ESRI basemap is selected, the map cannot be taken offline. I though we had to add a specific "Offline Capable" version of the default ESRI basemaps. What are the "For Export" basemaps? https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=eaee8760ed754019a964a6d785613a50 Our organization does not use iOS and we cannot enable logging in Collector

I just closed a case with an ESRI analyst; we determined that while raster datasets are supported in MMPKs, the entire MMPK and raster must be in the Web Mercator Auxiliary Sphere projection for the raster to display. This interrupts our workflows because the raster datasets must be packaged into TPKs to be served in a custom projection MMPK, and this can be a time-consuming task. Additionally, TPKs do not allow for a legend to appear in Explorer. Our workaround for the legend is to include a layer with one feature the size of the map extent, and add a JPEG attachment with a legend. It is a cumbersome and unintuitive experience for the end user. Is displaying raster data in custom projections within MMPKs, with a legend on the roadmap for future releases? Thank you Andrew

Hi Kylie - On your second point about taking default ESRI basemaps offline in Collector; is this the intended workflow for Field Maps as well? Will we be able to take default basemaps offline? Which imagery basemap are you using? I find that the downloads fail with no error message other than "Download Failed"

Yes, I closed the app and restarted it. I also restarted the phone, with no luck.

Hi Kylie - My teammate posted an update there. Can we expect to use multiple side-loaded basemaps in the full version of Collector? Or will we only be able to use one tpk basemap?

I'm also having this issue, but I'm using New Collector version 19.1.0 on Android. When I open Collector Classic on the same device, all of the side-loaded basemaps appear and can be used. In New Collector, the only option is "Default".

I'm working on a collector app, and I'm having some problems with symbology. Our field data collectors need to be able to add a line feature in collector and have it show an arrow at the end of the line, in the direction it was drawn. So far when the field data collectors add a line, the arrow is shown on the web map in the browser, but on the mobile device the line does not have the arrow at the end. Is AGOL downgrading the symbology when it displays the map on the mobile device? Does anyone know of a workaround to have the arrows appear on the mobile device? Many thanks Andrew

I encountered this issue while using a remote desktop connection and running ArcGIS Pro on a server. I had created my original project with Pro 2.4.2, and the server had Pro 2.4.1. When I opened the project I had created on my desktop with Pro 2.4.1, the file became read-only. Trying to save the project by overwriting the original project with the same name led to an error (I can't remember which one exactly.) To solve the issue, I saved the project a second time with a different name, and deleted the original project created in 2.4.1. It's been working so far.
