Ken, Thanks so much, this did it. Unfortunately it produces another issue (detailed below) but I'm going to mark this correct. Is highlight option new in 4.9? It doesn't run in 4.8. Which brings me to the issue. This map has a fairly complex symbology setup which stems from the AGO's inability to maintain a reference scale. Since it's also an event map I've rotated the map so that it reads in a more user friendly up/down orientation. However something about 4.9 doesn't like the way I've symbolized things and rotated. You can see the two versions below. There might not be anything to be down here given my time constraints but if you notice anything I can do I'd love to hear it. Yeah that seems way out of my depth and not worth the input. Seems crazy to me that results table would be that hard but then again I don't know what I don't know so... Any way to expand the "more results" from the default popup?

I'm looking to set it to false and be presented with the list, similar to what it does for suggestions. I could potentially use the default template which has "Show More Results" but the results are limited. In the case below, the more results are limited to five but in reality there are more than 40 results that would apply

I think so but that example loses me. Here's what I have so far (I'm not sure what the syntax tool ins't working accurately here): var featureLayerhighlight = new FeatureLayer({
url: "https://services.arcgis.com/s8BzdTejnTIG3ix6/ArcGIS/rest/services/FFG2018POI_z/FeatureServer/0"
});
webmap.add(featureLayerhighlight);
view.on("pointer-move", function(event){
view.hitTest(event).then(function(response){
if (response.results.length) {
var graphic = response.results.filter(function (result) {
return result.graphic.layer === featureLayerhighlight;
})[0].graphic;
view.whenLayerView(graphic.layer).then(function(layerView){
layerView.highlight(graphic);
});
}
});
});

I'm trying to turn on the highlight settings for layers that are clicked on and came across the highlightOptions setting within the MapView but I can't get it to work. I added the following but nothing happens: var view = new MapView({
map: webmap,
rotation: 340,
highlightOptions: {
color: [255, 255, 0, 1],
haloOpacity: 0.9,
fillOpacity: 0.2
}, What am I missing? Scott

I'm looking for a simple way to display the search results, Fall For Greenville. I know I have to turn off the autoSelect and use the search-complete event but I don't really understand what this means. I can use the below to log it in the console but how do I do anything with it the search-complete? searchWidget.on("search-complete", function(event){
// The results are stored in the event Object[]
console.log("Results of the search: ", event);
}); Scott

Yep, user is named user and has admin rights. Still doesn't work on 2012.

It does appear to be an operating system issue as I ran it on another serving that's running Windows 2016 and it was successful. Seemingly everything else was the same (admin rights, etc.) I sent a message to our IT dept for some clarity as I'm not sure if there might be something specific to us or if it's specific to Windows 2012.

Yeah this is definitely related. When I select "Run only when user is logged on" it'll run. I wonder if it's OS as your first question alluded to? It seemed in that thread that people who were running Windows 2016 didn't have an issue. Also, separately, what a rabbit hole. How is this not something that Tech Support doesn't want to jump into and solve and/or direct people to the appropriate resources?

Same error. This is how we (successfully) run all of our ArcMap based python scripts though.
