Hi @RussRoberts , Just to confirm, as of 30/11/2022 there is no export sketch option available in AGOL? Working with students who are learning the way of GIS, I cannot have them enter ArcGIS Pro yet, that's for next year. I do however need them to save sketches as features in their contents. If even for the sake of re-using their sketches and having them pop up in their legend, to teach them good practices. That said, I am loving the new Map Viewer with all its features! Sketching, adding titles, text, images etc. makes it a brilliant tool for beginners. Many thanks, C. Reid

Hi all, Just checking: As off Arcgis Pro 3.0.1. there is still no export to graphic -> Jpeg, png, etc? I am wondering why? The work around at the moment is to export as .SVG, open in browser and save as image (jpg). Forgive me, but it seems silly to have export to graphic available, but to have SVG and PDF as only options. Any idea when this can/will be implemented? Kind regards, C. Thanks for putting a smile on my face whilst looking for a way to export my model to jpeg (no clue why they removed that function, smh)! So curiousity ensued: What are your other rules? 😄

Hi Will, Unfortunately, the only way around this is by opening the .mxd in 10.8 and saving it as an older version. I would implore Esri to implement backwards compatibility, however with ArcPro out and the announced stop of development for Arcgis Desktop, I am not hopeful this will happen. Hopefully someone in your network has 10.8 available, else you are welcome to contact me. I'd be happy to convert the .mxd to an older version. Kind regards, Callum Reid callum.reid@hvhl.nl

Hi Peter, Thank you for your response. It ended up working. I think perhaps Esri was conducting maintenance on AGOL in the background whilst I was trying this. A day or two after my post, I got it to work. It also helps if you don't try to share 13gbs of data. I ended up reducing this to +/-200mb, which I don't think was the original problem (as I mentioned, I had reduced it's size to 10mb), but I ended up not needing a more detailed map. Thanks again! Kind regards, Callum

Hi, In classic versions of Storymaps, it was possible to toggle on/off multiple layers in the same mapview. I'm wondering whether this will become possible again in the new Storymaps, or whether this is a functionality that I am simply unable to find. I look forward to your responses! Kind regards, Callum

Hi, I am trying to upload a raster to AOL. I have so far tried publishing as Web Map (Arcgis Pro) or as Service (Arcmap 10.7.1.). Initially, I tried using Arcmap and shared the layer as service. I tried sharing both vector and raster at once, which should be possible, however my vector data published fine, raster was not visible (checked visible scale ranges). From there I tried different things. I reduced cache size, from what I require (Town - Household at 13gb) down to even single scale ranges (10mb). I've tried just publishing the raster (as vector seems to publish just fine). In all attempts, the analysis shows no issues and preview works just fine. So, feeling a bit defeated I then went to Arcgis Pro, which tells me, again, that there are no issues. It publishes the Web Map, however when checking the Job Queue, it shows me that the Web Tile Layer, my raster file, has failed. Upon checking the log I see that it has a ''problem submitting tile caching job''. All other statusses are either InProgress, Pending, or Succeeded. Whatever I try, I cannot seem to publish this raster. Has anyone ever encountered issues uploading raster? I've done it in the past and have never had issues. At the moment, It seems that regardless of what I try, it won't upload. Thanks for reading, I'm hoping someone can provide any insight into the matter. I've attached logs and (zipped) raster file. Kind regards, Callum Reid

Hi all, I'm not sure whether this is the place to post this. I'm wondering whether it is possible to create custom urls for Arcgis online groups. For instance, I have an url: http://arcg.is/xx11xx, which is randomly generated upon the creation of a group. I would like the url to be http://arcg.is/fluffymarshmallow. Is there any way of doing so? If not, is this something that could be implemented? When sharing groups within a large project group, I feel it would be convenient to have a logical and recognizable group url. What are your thoughts? Kind regards, Callum Reid Comment • Share
