Hi Ismael, I use the string-length formula in the same situation as Terry. It works great when the field technician initially collects the data in the survey. However, when the supervisor wants to check and correct answers from the Inbox, the questions that are Relevant with string-length do not appear in the form. And when he returns the corrected survey, the information in the fields corresponding to those questions remains intact in the Feature Layer. This is good news since the collected data is not lost, but we would like the supervisor to be able to see and correct this information from the Inbox. I am attaching the part of my survey that shows this behavior. Thanks

Hi Michelle, Thanks for the tip... but yes I already have these options turned on : query allowUpdates=true : to allow update of existing items in repeat query allowAdds=true : to allow adding new items in repeat But as far as I know, it's not possible to have something like "allowDeletes". That's what would be fine for me. Regards

Hi Philip, Is there any new development on that. Is there a plan at ESRI to work on supporting deleting repeat records from the field app ? Thanks !

It would be great if it was possible to update or delete an item in the Inbox for File question, just like you can do with Image question.

Hi James, Any update on this ? I tried "allowDeletes" and it makes no difference and I don't find any documentation about this, so I presume that it's not supported yet. But for us, it would be very useful. Thanks !

Hi Will, I have exactly the same problem : the feature layer created with a new Survey123 3.14 survey don't show in Map Viewer Classic or in Vizualisation tab of the feature layer page. But it works in the new Map Viewer. I can see the data in the Data tab of the feature layer page but I can't see the attribute table in Map Viewer Classic. I had published a Beta version of my survey 3 days ago with the same version 3.14 of Survey123 Connect and everything was working fine. Now every new survey has the same problem, even the default survey with a sample text question and a yes/no question! Did you find a solution?

In most of the surveys that we design there are several fields that are only used for calculations or conditions in the survey form. These fields are not useful for the user who wants to export the results of his survey in Excel with the Export tool from the Survey123 website, and can even be confusing. It would be nice if the exported fields were the same as the visible fields in the attribute table, which can be selected using the drop-down menu. Thanks

Hi all, I created a survey on top of an existing feature layer on AGOL. The existing feature layer has attachments enabled so that pictures can be taken for each record, if needed, in Collector. In fact, the goal is to replace the use of Collector with the use of Survey123 in the field. I set up an image-type question in the new Survey123 so that I can take pictures with Survey123. Everything works fine except for this detail: I would have like to see the photos of the previous records coming from Collector in the Photo Library of the Survey123 website in the Analysis tab, in the section related to this new image-type question, but old photos do not appear. When I donwload the Feature Layer in GDB format, all attachments, old ones from Collector and new ones from Survey123, are contained in the same _ATTACH table, so I suppose that they are stocked the same way in the Feature Layer. Is there a way to relate the old attachments already existing in the Feature layer to this image-type question in the new Survey123 survey, so all attachments will appear in the Image Library? It would be very nice! Thanks!

Thanks Jim ! The blog post by Ismael indicates clearly that you have to copy-paste column-by-column. It's a bit long but after all you just have to do it once ! Regards Alain

The new XLS Form template coming with newest versions of Survey123 Connect is very valuable, with new features and a clearer presentation of the various parameters. But it seems that the columns are no longer in the same order as in the old template. Is there an easy way to import an old XLS Form file into the new template, to update an existing survey? I could copy and paste the columns one by one, but this operation is clumsy and there's a high risk of error. Thanks for your help !

Hi all, After several tests and investigations by the ESRI Canada team and the Philip Wilson team (thank you all for your great work), the problem was reported as a bug : BUG-000133776: Survey123 app crashes when working with a complex survey with older iOS devices On our side we have decided to replace our iPhone 6 with more recent devices. This problem does not occur with our iPhones 7, 8 and SE 2020. Thanks
