Oh, I'm sorry. I follow you. I thought I was to remove the back tick. I thought that was the wrong character because this it the output that I had with back ticks. "Unable to execute arcade script"

I am trying to add an XY coordinate of the center of a polygon to the list. Currently I have a WebMap that is filtered using the dashboard and another tab of the WebApp so that they can find the project they need and then open the other tab and edit the attribute. As a way to help locate the project between he two map tabs, I want to add an XY to the list so it is easy to find the projects between the two maps. I have another ID they should use to search but I wanted to figure out the arcade for the XY. Any help would be amazing!

I am curious, when you add a within arcade command to add a new attribute to to a point layer (like the screenshot attached) how often does the arcade command update? Is it just when the point is initially created? Does it look each time you load? If you change the polygon the point is within does it automatically change the within value?

That's perfect! I was trying to get the iif statement in the wrong spot. This also helps me understand how to simplify my arcade formatting. Thank you so much for the help!

This maybe a simple snippet, but I cannot get it to work. I have a small arcade line on my dashboard list to calculate the time that gas was turned off. Simpily subtracts the On time from the Off time. But, when a service is never turned off, it has nothing in these fields to subtract and results in a 'NaN' I wanted to add an iif statement that takes these NaN's and either leaves them blank and displays nothing or more ideally comes back with 'Zero' But since it is a NaN result and not something that I can add an If Blank, I am struggling to figure out how this can be done. Any help would be amazing! Thanks. Attached: List view from dashboard and the snippet of the arcade Arcade Text: var Status = $datapoint.OutageStatus var Off = $datapoint.DateOff var On = $datapoint.DateRelightComplete var DaysOff = DateDiff (On, Off, 'hours') var HoursOff = Round(DaysOff,1) return { textColor: '', backgroundColor: '', separatorColor:'', selectionColor: '', selectionTextColor: '', attributes: { HoursOff:HoursOff, } } Line item template: ({expression/HoursOff} Hours without Gas)

14 years later and we still don't have this wildly simple customization option. There are so many utilitarian uses for this ability.

That's a good reference to keep in my pocket. Thank you I appreciate it! It doesn't do exactly what I am trying to do. I worked on it to get it to work but had to take a different approach. I want to still clean up my code and when I'm playing around Ill try some of these ideas and see where they go. Thanks again

I am struggling to get the result I want. Want to set an alert text (in this case 'ALERT' if two criteria are met. It has to be over 10 days old and another attribute cannot be "Mapped in GIS" I think I got into the weeds and have a mess. I know the str=Find line is not working. I am trying to just find things that contained "mapped" but this line looks to be returning everything. Any help would be great. var y = NOW(); var z = date($datapoint.DateTieIn); var w = DateDiff(y,z,'days') var str=Find("Mapped",Upper($datapoint.GISStatus)) var b = IIf((str>(-1)),5,0) var c = iif(w>'10',1,0) var e = Sum(b,c); var a = iif(e==0,'', iif(e==1,'ALERT', iif(e==5,'', IIF(e==6,'',"ERROR")))) return { textColor: '', backgroundColor: '', separatorColor:'', selectionColor: '', selectionTextColor: '', attributes: { a:a, } } Here are my variables; y= Todays Date z= Date Tied In w= Days elapsed since Tie In str= find only those containing 'Mapped' text b=Result of str c=if over 10 days since tie in give a value e= Adding results of the "Mapped" search with Days old value a=Based on the sum in e there were 4 possible combinations I only want an alert for 1 which is (0 (not mapped) + 1 (over 10 days old)

I have a map that runs a dashboard. I wanted to change some symbology but when I make and save the changes to the map in map viewer the changes are not seen in the dashboards and that map sticks to the original map symbology, filters, extent etc.

I have a dashboard build that has a map as one of the elements. When you click on a polygon within the map it displays the date as a 13 character number rather than a date. If I open the map, it self, anywhere else it shows the date correctly. It is only in the dashboard that the date is shown as a ling number and dates are the only attributes being changed. Since the map it self is showing dates correctly, I am not sure why it is doing this for dashboards or what I can do to get it to show the dates correctly. UPDATE: This is only happening when a Dashboard Classic converts to the new Dashboard
