Hi. I would be grateful for some help regarding analysis of a buffer I have created in ArcMap 10.2. I have made multiple 5 km buffers from a polyline in ArcMap, which marks the bottom of Nepal with the buffers extending up to 155 kmnorthwards to the Himalayas. I have many layers already in ArcMap, including slope elevation, angle, geology, TRMM data etc., and I need to get a value of each of these factors for each buffered polygon. I ultimately want to produce a graph with distance from Nepal's base on the x-axis, elevation on the y-axis, and another variable such as slope angle on the opposite y-axis - not dissimilar from this: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=precipitation+along+himalayas&es_sm=93&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=qz1NU_7wNMOm0AWE-oCIDQ&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1242&bih=585#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=RAJOj-yeEJ73jM%253A%3BGrlaqpVuJibyWM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fgeology.gsapubs.org%252Fcontent%252F34%252F10%252F801%252FF2.large.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fgeology.gsapubs.org%252Fcontent%252F34%252F10%252F801%252FF2.expansion.html%3B1280%3B1075. Any help would be really appreciated. Any help ASAP would be really appreciated - it is for a university dissertation! Regards Megan

I was wondering if you could help me. I have curvature values of 4.6967e+012 --> -4.88592e+012, and once exported give mean values of -53136000614 to 73871998976 , which are obviously too high. I really don't know what I am doing wrong. I (think I) have attached a picture of it for you to visualise better. Thanks.

As stated in a few responses above, I managed to overcome this through resampling the raster to a finer resolution. Ctrl-F > Resample > Choose the raster data from which values will be extracted per polygon > change the cell size to a much smaller number (1-5). Then use the output from the Table of Contents in the Zonal Statistics function as before, and you should have many more of your values/unique identifiers.
