Solved it by splitting my input point feature class in seperate point feature class files, which were than all added as the near input files. A bit cumbersome, bit it worked . Thank you all for your input!

Dear Joe, Unfortunately I already tried this and it still came back with the same error. Moreover, the tool already incorporates the Geometry Repair tool. When running the dataset which is provided by esri the tool works fine. Thus, there is probably something with the dataset I am using like some specific polygon misallignment or something. Best, rens

There are 484 original polygons and 25 points, you can scroll down the table untill the 484th record and only get one distance (NEAR_DIST) and thus only get one distance for each original polygon (which is the same which was generated with the Near tool.

Hello, I am working with a polygon file and want to get an average distance value to multiple points for each polygon. Conceptually I have tried multiple things to tackle this problem, such as the Multiple Ring Buffer tool, the Point and Kernel Density tools, and the Near and Generate Near Table tools. None of these approaches gave the appropriate result. The Generate Near Table tool supposedly would be able to take into account multiple distances if the Find only closest feature (optional) is unchecked. Though still only one distance per polygon was generated in the table: The Near tool would give suboptimal results if it was working properly, though with this tool I have some issues as well. As you can see in the screendump below some polygons that are positively more isolated have receive lower distance values than polygons that are closer to the points: Do any of you know what I am doing wrong with both Near tools or do you know a better way to tackle this problem? Greetings Rens

Hello guys I’m trying to extract the roof top forms of the centre of Amsterdam. To do this I want to use the roof form extract tool of ERSI. I followed all the steps that were given by the tutorial. As input I use building data of Amsterdam. With the help of the tutorial I created a DSM, DTM, nDSM by using lidar data. After running the RoofFormExtraction tool, I constantly getting an 000072 error after an hour. See the screen dump below. I am working with a very large dataset (including all buildings of the city of amsterdam). I dont know if this might be of influence. Greetings rens

Hello Megan, Thank you for you answer! I calculated the raster statistics on the DSM, DTM, and nDSM. Still the same errors occurs. Everything works until the marking feature class and the error 000735 keeps occurring. Do you have a solution for this? Greetings Rens

Hello, I want to extract the roof forms of buildings using Lidar data and buildings of Amsterdam. I followed all the steps of the Esri tutorial for extracting rooftops from Lidar data. I created a all the elevations layers (DSM, DTM, and nDSM) following all the steps of the tasks. After running the extract roof form I get an error The parameters are as following: - minimum flat roof area: 250 - minimum slope roof area: 75 - minimum roof height: 8 First, after running I got the error 000735 that said that the parameters are invalid. After playing with the parameters and using other building data I got the error 010423. Who can help me out? Greetings, Rens

Hello everyone, the extent of the source is off 0,0001 m. I have tried different ways of fixing this but none of them worked properly. Do any of you know the easiest way to fix this? Greetings, Rens
