@MelindaMorang I am trying to utilize the current license I have in ArcGIS Pro Advanced with a limited number of ArcTools available. From reviewing the help section, it appears what I am trying to do would require the Network Analyst extension license?

@MelindaMorang Is it possible to use the analysis tools for creating a route (Add Locations & Solve) in Model Builder, add the model to a ArcToolBox and use python outside of ArcGIS Pro and call the model to run? I tried doing that, but it kept throwing errors.

Greetings: I have created a manual process of creating a route within a File Geodatabase with the Add Locations and Solve geoprocessing tool, also building it into a model within ModelBuilder. However, the goal is to export the model to a stand-alone Python script to incorporate into an already established batch file. The issue I cannot solve is when I run the script outside of GIS, it keeps saying the path to the Network Analysis Layer does not exist. I also cannot figure out the proper path syntax for the route layer. Doing something wrong?

@LizArmstrong @LeoDCG Yes, I agree with that question. Is there a guide or tutorial that would be made public to assist in the migration from Workforce to Field Maps with tasks? We have been using Workforce company wide for a variety of workflows and migrating from that to the Field Maps with Tasks feature is going to be a huge undertaking. I would like the ability to move/copy what we are working with to a new Field Map application versus starting all over from scratch.

Greetings: We have a large number of Hosted Feature Layers on our AGOL platform that are used by a variety of AGOL applications (Fields Maps, Workforce, Survey123, Dashboards, etc). The issue I am having is many of these Hosted Feature Layers require the Enable Sync setting to be enabled, otherwise it messes a lot of things up and I get constant complaints. What I need to do, and not sure how, is to create a log file that is automatically emailed to myself on a nightly basis running a QA/QC audit against these Feature Layers and provide a log report identifying which ones are and are NOT properly Sync Enabled. My ideal way of doing this is via a stand-alone Python Script. Appreciate any guidance to get the process/script started. Thank You

I know this is a very common task in the GIS world, but this is a new project/special request for me that has landed at my desk and need some guidance on how to proceed. We have a series of electric/water accounts broken up into billing/reading cycles and we use to, back in the day, add a read sequence identifier to each record. Fast forward 2 decades and that has become old practice. NOW, I am asked to redo the read sequence for all of the services in all the books that will assist with a variety of other tasks. What I need to do is use the Network Analyst in ArcGIS Pro to create a route for each reading book. However, the final output needs to produce a numeric sequential identified for each "stop" within that route from start to finish that I can then append into our overall billing database. According to the research I have done, I am not sure how to produce that sequential numerical identifier after creating a route. EDIT: In the Route Layer - Stops, there is a field "Sequence" that I am trying to get auto-populated based on the route calculations. On the first attempt, the fields are all populated with "1", so apparently, I did something wrong. Appreciate any guidance.

@abureaux It is very obvious that you are way more advanced compare to me and your knowledge super-seeds me 10-fold and your flow(s) and process(s) are most likely way more complexed compared to my simple Survey123 report creation and e-mail flows. With that said, I went very basic and elementary in my flow(s) and just created a parallel branch with the "Run After" settings of successful or failed. Yeah, no duh ah? One of the key factors that leads to a failed flow in Power Automate for me is when there is an ESRI outage affecting AGOL and Hosted Feature Layers (something that those above me that rely on these reports do not quite understand). If there is an unknown factor causing an interruption with AGOL and the feature layers that power the Survey123 process, I have a way of being notified instantly. Perhaps someone else that shares my limited knowledge of Power Automate and coding, could also find this helpful. Again @abureaux Always appreciate your expertise.

Good day. I have a series of Power Automate flows for our Survey123 platform. Many of the Survey123 reports that are submitted are time sensitive and are required in order to proceed with other task(s) within the company. There are times that a flow fails to run and I am not aware of it until management complains that they haven't seen a specific PDF report. Trying to come up with a solution that I am notified (E-mail) if a flow fails and/or a nightly E-mail log/report showing the successful completion of all flows and any failed/error flows. Any guidance would be appreciate.

@gis_KIWI4 That is what I was thinking it was, looks like I was second guessing myself. I would have thought those rule(s) were already built in prior to the publishing of the solutions package. I will comb thru the rule(s) and update accordingly.

I am currently building our Water Utility Network and working with the Blow-Off features within our infrastructure. Trying to determine the best path for connectivity. Presently, I have the Blow-Off feature within Water Devices - Flushing and Blow Off. However, the connection from a water line - service (Blow-Off) isn't connecting. Is there a different connection I am not aware of OR do I need to update the connectivity rules to allow that to happen? Appreciate the feedback.

@PiyaliKundu2 Again, I appreciate you taking the time to write all this out and explain ESRI's purpose. What I will need to do is to continue to make sure our current Workforce and Survey123 platform is intact since it has become one of our main tools between our Operation's staff and the field crew(s). Honestly, they rely on it to be functional for all of the day-to-day tasks and activities. I will start working on some additional research for transition, talk with my Operation's team and prepare a Project Plan to transition from Workforce to Field Maps. I will reach out if there are any questions or concerns. All the best.

@PiyaliKundu2 Thank you very much for the information. I look forward to seeing the future tutorials and python scripts. Here is my concern on proposing to my Operation's staff that we make the switch from Workforce to Field Maps Tasks. When we build a solid workflow using an ESRI product and have worked out several bugs, adapted it workflow to a Standard Operating Procedure, it seems like ESRI goes and changes things. In this case, retiring Workforce and adding new stuff to Field Maps. It might be unknown or too early to know at this time, but is there a possibility that Field Maps with Tasks is going to follow the same lifeline as Workforce is doing? One thing I really cannot have happen is propose to my team on making the switch from Workforce to Field Maps with Tasks, forcing us to redo the complete workflow and SOP and in a few years, being in the same boat. Again, appreciate your help and guidance.

@PiyaliKundu2 Thank you for the update. The biggest question I have is the functionality and collaboration efforts more stable with the updated release of ArcGIS Field Maps with Tasks versus ArcGIS Workforce? I am specifically referring to the sync issues that the ESRI User community has been having issues with. There are many times that our field locators and crew foreman need to receive time sensitive documents and service orders on their field tablet(s) while in the field. With everything I am responsible for creating, maintaining and updating, I have not had the opportunity to explore the new features. Is there anything published you can refer me to in the line of a tutorial? Appreciate it.

@CodyPatterson @MarkBennett We have had constant issues with this for awhile now and the key factor that I personally have found is the internet/network connection. Even though our tablets (Samsung Galaxy) has an internet provider associated, it only seems to connect and sync when there is a stable and strong internet connection, mostly when the device connections to our operation's WiFi signal, which is very strong. When the tablets are in the field even with a strong Verizon internet connection, our crew runs into constant Syncing issues. Our IT department has done all they can on the devices to ensure a constant internet connection. Not sure if this is a contributing factor in how ESRI has programmed the sync process or not. Our "Work-Around" has been the tablet(s) sync when the crew comes to HQ and the WiFi connects and the sync seems to work. Yes, that is not the intention since our Foreman needs time sensitive work orders on the fly. Not sure if this helps, but this is based on my experience working with Workforce and the on-going sync issues.
