Has anyone experienced issues with ArcGIS Survey123 hosted surveys loosing the "Existing record edited" trigger setting? We have at least 5 surveys that require this optional trigger event to be selected. We have found that we loose the "Existing record edited" trigger setting when there are ArcGIS Online updates Survey123 updates published from Survey123 Connect to AGOL Power Automate Connector password update random occurrences that we cannot determine the source of We do have a Microsoft Power Automate flow following a similar process as in this useful blog https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-for-power-automate-blog/quick-tip-keeping-the-arcgis-connectors-for-power/ba-p/1499596 to keep our token refreshed but we have to update our Survey123 owner account password every 90 days. When this occurs we do pause flows temporarily to update this but we check the flows afterwards to ensure the surveys needing this trigger are set appropriately. If anyone has tips or tricks for using a P.A. flow or notebook script to check webhook trigger settings I would LOVE to read about them and possibly use one that may work in our state GCC tenant.

I am still having this issue occur. I have a survey that allows anonymous users to submit to a survey but they cannot see their submission or other submissions. Select AGOL users have the ability to access a dashboard with an embedded survey in editing mode. Our users started experiencing issues with being able to edit submissions around 8/24/22. Users CAN edit survey submissions if they use an Experience Builder application with the survey in editing mode but this is NOT as user friendly as editing submissions in a Dashboard. A current work around is that users trying to use the Dashboard have to open a new tab in the web browser & open the Survey123Hub page and when they return to the dashboard it will let them submit. I am trying to get a Defect logged for the issue but have not as the moment as I'm still working with the technician assigned to my ticket [#03164702]. Any help solving the issue would be greatly appreciated. @DerekLaw

How was this resolved? I am currently having this issues with a Survey published using Connect 3.11.123. My repeat count is set by a datapull value that looks up how many localities are in a selected region of interest & requires the user to submit that amount of repeats. If a user selects a SitRep status of Initial & an Incident Type of jurisdiction, multi-jurisdiction or location-specific incident then the repeat is equal to 1 or the count of jurisdictions selected for multi-jursdiction. If they select Regional as the Incident Type then the user has to submit for all localities in the selected region. This works great on a first submission. We have users submitted situation report updates by using the inbox, selecting the SitRep off interest and copying the data to a new SitRep. Once they change their SitRep status to Update or Final the pull data calculation recalculates for all the localities in the region & they should have to submit for all localities. This calculation seems to be working BUT the join calculation that shows the read only check list so that users know which localities they have filled out thus far does not update. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Sorry, about that I was being slow. I ended up publishing a new survey based on an existing feature service to edit my survey that contains an external choice list and pulldata from a csv due to having hidden and calculated fields not exposed in the original survey to the user that I wanted to expose for editing.

So I am actually trying to implement a conditionally required question and I could not do this unless I removed the data validation (only allows field from the list, i think it's yes or empty cell) from the Required field for Survey123 Connect from ArcGIS. The survey was created in version 3.9.

So it appears my survey was updating but it doesn't populate the 1st 3 fields for the point of contacts information. This information is conditional calculated. If they are a frequent submitter they have an option to select their name from a list and it fills in the name, email and phone number. If they choose no for frequent submitter they have to fill in their contact info.

I am trying to embed an editable survey in an operations dashboard and am using the following private url https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/90c975abb7e24e7ea0d24d74e5b30204?mode=edit&globalId={globalid} with a list that is acting on the embedded content. I have set the survey to allow add & update from the survey settings. But when I click on my list chrome pop opens the following window. If you click on "Leave" it refreshes the survey window but it does not populate with the selected survey data from the list. I don't understand why this doesn't work and tries to open a new window. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you. I have attached the form to the original post. I ended up taking a different approach with the report as a work around Selected percentage: ${ADMIN_FIN40} but I would prefer using the previous method if possible.

I am developing a Survey123 report template and I am getting the following error [Error: Failed to parse "${RMMAL27_Y_type}". Field "${RMMAL27_Y_type}" does not exist or cannot be found in current parsing scope."]. The field exists in my data and I am copying it straight from the provided examples of how to work with the field for a report template. In my customized report template I have the question formatted as: Has the jurisdiction pre-identified and documented staging areas and points of distribution (POD) locations for receiving and distributing resources? ${RMMAL27 | selected:"y"} Yes ${#RMMAL27_Y} ${RMMAL27_Y_type} Type Location Name: ${RMMAL27_Y_name} Type Location Address: ${RMMAL27_Y_address}, ${RMMAL27_Y_city}, ${RMMAL27_Y_zip_} ${/RMMAL27_Y} ${RMMAL27 | selected:"n"} No ${RMMAL27_N | selected:"no"} No assistance needed. ${RMMAL27_N | selected:"assist"} The jurisdiction needs technical assistance to develop this plan/protocol and identify staging area and POD locations. Staging Location Notes: ${RMMAL27_N_notes_stage} POD Location Notes: ${RMMAL27_N_notes_pod} In the the downloadable template from survey123 the fields are shown as: Staging and POD Locations (at least 1 of each) ${#RMMAL27_Y} Please select the type of location ${RMMAL27_Y_type} Staging & POD Location- Locality ${RMMAL_27_locality} Type Location Name ${RMMAL27_Y_name} Type Location Street Address ${RMMAL27_Y_address} Type Location City ${RMMAL27_Y_city} Type Location Zip Code ${RMMAL27_Y_zip_} Please select the location on the map ${RMMAL27_Y_geopoint} --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ${/RMMAL27_Y} I'm also getting an error "Error occurred when rendering by the report engine. Failed to parse "${LCAR__2019.ADMIN_FIN40|selected:"100"}". But the following field name codes are shown in the options to work with fields 40. What percentage of time does the Coordinator of Emergency Management and/or staff spend devoted to your emergency management program? ${ADMIN_FIN40} ${ADMIN_FIN40 | selected:"value of a choice item"} is used for putting a check box beside a choice item. Input: ${ADMIN_FIN40 | selected:"100"} 100% ${ADMIN_FIN40 | selected:"75"} 75% ${ADMIN_FIN40 | selected:"50"} 50% ${ADMIN_FIN40 | selected:"25"} 25% ${ADMIN_FIN40 | selected:"10"} 10% The field has a field length constraint of 3 and has a field type of esriFieldTypeSmallInteger Any help would be appreciated..
