Currently no, but we will be going with esri's new updated damage assessment solution since it's officially what FEMA expects. but internally we want extra data for our own analysis such as initial damage cost. so what we're doing is adding additional fields that will be auto populated using HTML in popups taking data from a certified parcels layer that contains the county's appraised value for the property. the parcels layer will have a relationship class with a damage reports table and thats how we'll track the reports for each feature and even for future events. so the flow would look like this, select parcel-select hyperlink to survey123form for related damage reports table [FEMA forms]-[HTML code in the link passes appraised value and location info to form]- fill out the rest and submit no i dont have to ensure the people doing the assessing are right in front of the house when they submit the info is related already to the layer. however i'm having trouble creating the form from the layer. i think the relationship class between the table and layer isn't supported or something else... maybe you might have the answer? additionally, the form would allow us to continue to try to use webhooks to our office products but i'm now thinking of trying to use fieldmaps to add related records. I haven't tried it yet but i'm hoping i can pass values the same way to the related table.

So, i was doing a HTTP check with ArcGIS Security Advisor and cleaning things up. this is the second item I've come accross that says this even though I'm not using the weather info. Will this tool be updated? the first time I came across this I removed the tool since it wasn't in use, but this department utilizes the tool frequently, and I'd hate to not be able to use it because the tool isn't HTTP compliant can anyone from ESRI help?

Hello, we're currently using Trimble's new TDC150(cm) in connection with collector, quickcapture etc. we wanted to use Field maps with it as the future versions would be a powerful combination. But unfortunately the device's OS is Android 6. any plans to support older versions of android? I hope maybe this could turn out to be a special case and we can get Field maps on our trimbles. Any luck with that?

Hi! I'm actually having trouble with this flow and cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong here. maybe you can help. The flow we're trying to implement here is updating a parcels layer with from a damage assessment survey. We're using html in the popups in the fieldworkers map to pass values automatically to the survey123 form to expedite the assessment process and mitigate data entry errors. Main parcels layer (noneditable) (data) > surveyform > (power automate workflow updates 2nd parcels layer (editing enabled) for the flow we only reference the 2nd parcels layer and are trying to use the HCAD number (Parcelid which is a string) to relate the submitted data to the target data. but we keep getting this error. Is it because the parcelids in the form and 2nd layers are strings? or am i missing something else? We got this flow from this blog post "Webhooks, Microsoft Flow and the ArcGIS Rest API – Automating Your Web GIS ": https://lnkd.in/gU5m4V5

I'm doing something similar with our Hydrant Meters. Basically the guys were using pen and paper to track them and they did a terrible job, and the billing department was using a spreadsheet. I tried doing what you want to do. I made a layer with the exact inventoried amount of meters and gave each record the corresponding serial number and configured it to only allow geometry and attribute updates, no deletes. However, what do you do with the ones that aren't deployed? I tried a system using a data editor web app where they would switch an attribute 'deployed' to 'in inventory' and the billing ladies would manually move them to the public works facility on the maps and then to the location where and whenever deployed. It works fine until you realize more than half of the meters used are repurposed 2" residential meters and don't last longer than a year. (we're having abnormal amount of construction going on for the next few years) So the total amount fluctuates, could be ten one month next month could just be four. So managing the meters becomes labor intensive and complicated for the billing ladies. I honestly think the best solution is the first one I mentioned. If the total amount changes it's as easy as changing the fixed statistic in the dashboard gauge. plus you have dates for each record, what i think'll work best is if you give each sign a unique ID so you can query afterwards every record dealing with that sign in chronological order. You can configure a query or filter tool for the end user too, (show me this sign *enters signID* table filters to show all data related to that sign*)

So they want measurements of the sign? Well if they have a sign department all that stuff should be standardized, at the state level. they can't just make signs of different shapes. Survey123 might help you out in this respect since it's form based surveying. You'll have to plan this out yourself but as an example your first question in the survey is what kind of sign it is and you might select 'stop' sign, you can set rules that will set up the next set of questions and depending on if you use the web designer or the desktop version (Survey123 Connect) I believe you can have condition statements built into the form. Like if you select stop sign it auto populates the standard size and color. The less complicated version is you create lists for each attribute drive around with the standards to reference and fill it in yourself in collector. selecting sign type from types list, size from size list, color so on and so on...from my experience public works is tricky, if it's filled with older generations of workers they tend to stick with the old tried and true methods, younger teams tend to like the quickest and more efficient ways. You'll have to have a strategy for dealing with both.

I personally don't favor crowd sourcing anymore, because it depends on the involvement of the community. As a reporting tool for issues with your street signs that would be a good idea, to supplement, the existing avenues the public uses to report problems like phones and emails. However, it's unlikely you'll get a lot of involvement. (people just don't care) There is hope though, if you work within the local government you could get public works involved. (i work in public works so it's easier for me) You could configure your reporting tool and dashboard and they can do their inspections along with their daily workload. Suvery123 is great but heads up, if it isn't quick, simple, and doesn't involve a lot of button pressing they're not going to use it unless they're told by management they have to. So my advice is configure your sign layer for the quickcapture app instead. the allure of them never leaving their truck will win you their cooperation.

So basically I haven't worked on this since posting, but I have had this idea. I have the exact number of barricades and types we own and wanted a way to display the total amounts and types versus what is currently deployed. What I've come to was, the field crews use quickcapture to deploy a barricade in the field. I configure a dashboard to show a gauge showing number of deployed barricade with the total number as a fixed statistic, repeat for various types, and use an arcade expression in a TCD webmap that only displays deployed barricades within a desired time frame (maybe 1hr-24hrs or longer. your preference) This works out because now you have a running record of deploys.

Thanks for checking it out. So, an update, vendor we purchased our new unit from has been working on figuring out whats wrong too and brought in Trimble. They had me run a now successful test to see what the fix should be. I collected a point with the Geo7x with the RTK network enabled (NAD1983 2011) and then exported it to a shapefile with a WGS 1983 Projection file I uploaded it to AGO and added it to my Field Collections Map and would't you know it I'm right on top of it. I still had the location profile set up as this: GNSS Receiver Coordinate System - GCS NAD 1983 2011 Map Coordinate System - WGS 1984 Web Mercator Auxiliary Sphere Datum Transformation - wgs_1984_(itrf00)_to_nad_1983_2011 So now my question is this. The rest of my feature layers in our portal are off the same as before. How do I get my data projected in WGS 1983 (not 84)?

Just recently purchased Trimbles new TDC150 GNSS Handheld. We were using their Geo7x but wanted a more simple workflow. So instead of getting built in software for the unit we opted instead to use Collector. With our correction service we consistently get 4-10 cm, which is awesome by the way, however in it's maiden voyage I found that everything was off. All my features in ArcGIS online were 1m off and NW from me, consistently. Our correction service uses GCS NAD 1983 (2011). So, following the recommended transformations made online and by esri we set up a location profile that only got us .1m closer. Discovering there was a supposed bug with the normal ITRF00/ ITRF08 transformations we were told to use "NAD_1983_HARN_to_NAD_1983_2011 + NAD_1983_HARN_to_WGS_1984 [USA (all states) + USA – HARN]". This unfortunately only brought us down to .5m. We used every optional transformation given our location and coordinate system used by our correction service. Some maintained .5m others took us to 1.5m, some stayed NW of us others went SE. Finally we called Esri Support services and after a brief moment of investigating existing bugs they found one. The bug is in the transformations and when I looked at the original submitted bug my case is attached to, it was originally submitted July...of 2018! I asked what the time frame would be to correct this, a few weeks or months? They couldn't say. It's really frustrating because from what I see this is not very reassuring that anyone is working on a resolution for this. collector issues coordinate system projection datum shift datum transformations high accuracy gnss
