I work with a lot of Esri users to help them successfully implement ArcGIS within their organization. Customers reach out to us because they are often challenged in a few key areas: Seeking ways to reduce the time it takes to install and configure our products Getting started and building proficiency Maximizing effectiveness and productivity of the implementation (which could include data, maps, apps, etc.) These are common challenges as our users are often supporting many roles within their organization (analysts, managers, system administrators, etc.) and often have limited bandwidth to roll out the latest version of our products. I find our users can experience a much quicker time to value and improved productivity through a services package. In these services packages, we often focus on a few best practices: Considering the needs of all stakeholders Supporting quick wins through understanding customer needs and configuring maps and apps to meet those needs Building a better user experience Please find attached a flyer that can be used a resource to read and understand more about some of our product and subject matter expert specific services packages (ArcGIS GeoEvent Server, ArcGIS Monitor, Insights for ArcGIS, etc.)

Hi Tim -- Good afternoon! I would highly recommend reviewing the "Architecting the ArcGIS Platform: Best Practices" white paper, available here: http://www.esri.com/~/media/files/pdfs/products/arcgis-platform/architecting-the-arcgis-platform This documentation provides an excellent place to start along with implementation guidelines, etc....

Hi Mark, The ArcGIS Enterprise team is correct that ArcGIS Monitor could be added to your Enterprise Agreement. By default, like most Esri products, this is not already included, so you would need to connect with your Account Manager to review your specific Enterprise Agreement and possibly make an amendment to include the allocation of ArcGIS Monitor licensing. I note you are in Australia, so I recommend connecting with your Account team there at Esri Australia to review further.

Hi Bill - ArcGIS Monitor and ArcGIS GeoEvent Server are components that require additional licensing and are not part of the core ArcGIS Enterprise product. You will see them there under ArcGIS Enterprise on MyEsri, but will not be able to authorize them until you procure the necessary licensing.

Hi Bill - MyEsri would not prevent you from downloading ArcGIS Monitor, but you will require an ArcGIS Monitor specific license/authorization file for it to work. Please connect with your Esri Account Manager to further discuss ArcGIS Monitor licensing and pricing to enable this capability for your organization.

Hi Bill - ArcGIS Monitor is a separate, standalone product with its own pricing and licensing. MyEsri's organizational structure allows you to see all capabilities of ArcGIS Enterprise (likewise with ArcGIS Desktop, etc.). ArcGIS Monitor is a capability of ArcGIS Enterprise, but it is not enabled without a license. Please connect with your Esri Account Manager to further discuss ArcGIS Monitor licensing and pricing to enable this capability for your organization.

Hi Michael - ArcGIS Monitor will have an additional cost as it is a separate product. ArcGIS Monitor is priced based on the number of ArcGIS Server cores being monitored. Please connect with your Esri Account Manager to discuss your specific requirements for licensing and pricing.
