In ArcPro, when COGOing a curve in a traverse, the default for the bearing is a tangent curve, and to change that to a chord bearing, you need to add cb at the end of your bearing to override the default. In the work I do, I never use a tangent bearing, so I always have to override it. Is there a way to change the default setting so that the default for the curve bearing is the chord bearing?

Hi Audrey, thanks for your question. With version ArcGIS Pro 2.7 the traverse grid will have the ability to configure the default circular arc entry parameters and to save those to your project. This will include setting Chord Direction as the default entry method for circular arcs.
